    New area locations to be opened up like Velika wilds, Baldera, beyond granarkus along with continuing the lore after defeating the Imperator. Also actually using the huge amount of empty space we have on the leveling areas to something useful instead of afking at towns for days.

    1) More class diversity. This means no more gender-locking and especially no more race locking to elins.

    2) as mentioned by several people, an open world that is actually used. Such a gorgeous place, and largely empty. May as well have one hub city and ports to dg's and bg's the way it feels now.

    3) Optimization. We all dislike ping/fps issues, lagging around and the fact that the game eats our PC's alive.

    4) Content. Maybe player housing and some other things that just add to the fun, a lot of people have been wanting fishing, etc in the game for a bit.

    5) Better character creation. Eye colors separate from makeup adornments and ears & tails separate from hair. Same goes for hair/horns on castanics. More diverse hairstyles. And darker skin tones for elves and elins especially.

    I'm sure i'll think of more later after some coffee.

    +12 ofc. We all know that +15 is a broken system.

    Also +15 + elitist people is a bad combination. Im a champion laurel slayer, Imperator and Slaughter +12 with Etchings II, perfect stats, perfect dyads etc. Nobody accepts me ever because Im not +15, sometimes not even for normal modes. So since I cant pvp because elitism, I just gave up and made a brawler (because the lack of tankers); slaughter gear with no etchings, cruxes, [filtered] old glyphs, I find parties within 2 minutes, even for hard modes.

    So yeah, brawlers are accepted everywhere even with [filtered] gear, and the DPS slots are resserved for +15 players.

    Sandbox

    -We have very little impact on the world at this time nor is there much reason to venture in it. TERA is breath taking Gorgeous but some much of it is lost to afking at the broker waiting for the next instance. Give us reasons to get up and do more.

    -Better Crafting: As it is now it is shallow and meaningless

    -Colonizing: Player Housing or the Ability to create shelters

    -Farming, Fishing and Hunting; Not really my thing but I know people that love these and well the more my fiends have a reason to stay in game the more I get to enjoy their company

    -Tournament Grounds: Mistmoor Island has an arena area, so do other zones. Put high Level Bams in this small area, make it so that if you walk into them you are automatically flagged for PvP no matter what server you are one. Have a special Bam spawn in them twice a day for people to fight over.

    Immersion

    -Idle Animations; The ability to sit in chairs, the ability to lay on the beach

    -Race Capitals: Give them more of a feel for the race


    --Castanica feels shallow, beyond NPC interaction there is little there to play off the Races lore.

    ---They are techies, give the city a special forge where magic is molded into Machine

    ---A small Casino side game to give the City that feel where it's people live for the moment


    --Pora Elinu can be improved on as well

    ---NPCs helping the new Elin rising up from the lake


    --Kaiator, Valika and Allemantheai are very well done

    @Starbuzz I heard from a secret source that they do plan to add "a part" of Baldera, but remove Balderon. There is a LOT of removed concept art from 2011 when TERA was planning to use this empty spaces for, and they are quiet beautiful. I really hope these spaces get used eventually. There are baldera, velika wilds, the desert beside tulufan, a red stone area beside allthemania, argon empty space, there is even hidden Dungeons scattered all around TERA, even under baldera unused. :smile:

    I also like to see race specific leveling, from lvl 1-20.

    -Elins start off rising up from the Lake of Tears where their minds are clouded with memories of their past.

    -Popori start off being awakened by an Elin, learning how to adapt to what they become

    -Amani start off with their rite of passage before joining the Federation, on a quest to craft their own weapon

    -Castanics start off in their Crucible, venturing out into Fyremont to steal an artifac from the demons to the North

    -Baraka are charged with protecting knowledge as one of their temples has become under assualt

    -High Elfs are consumed in their own culture and not much thought on how from me on this

    -Humans make apple pies and do as Velika tells them, but yea you get the idea

    One can dream and this one might be a personal one but I think other brawlers who use this will agree. Can BHS fix the flipping cross eyed look? I had to spend hours to make mine not look as cross eyed.

    So,The lvl 65 patch hits,the dakuryon storyline arc,brave heroes arm themselves to the teeth after the tragic death of ((spolier and spoiler)).Something amazing is discovered,ancient blueprints and technology finding a way to push your gear beyond the max of +12,up to +15.Generation equipment! So these heroes of the newest generation embark to unlock the legendary power of this gear to finally get rid of dakuryon once and for all...right? The heroes join up with the legenday blacksmith muhrak to unlock this legendary power..stuff of legends he says.
    *Our braves heroes,brave the hardest trials in the skycruiser,battling the legendary golem of Bathysmal rise ruins,to gather the materials for this legendary power to end dakyuron,after much toil,blood and sweat,with the final fall of muhraks hammer and much failure upgrades,our hero is full +15,brimming with power,wings coming out of her weapon,ready to face dakyuron.....or is she?
    Hero:*Flexes and looks at the brimming power of her new gear* So,now its time to face dakyuron!

    Funny story aside,I adore tera very much,i been playing since the beginning,But tera needs some spcie back in the game besides the endless gear treadmill.The overworld besides achievement its completely useless,theres nothing of value there for the endgame in other games there is plenty of ways to keep the players interested in the overworld,alnternate ways to aquire mats,like ore mining that has been forgotten.where are the colluva and dread ores to mine for example? or special rare mats that drop from random overworld mobs? many other mmos keep every piece of the overworld relevant,while still not taking the importance out of endgame dungeons,it just adds alternate ways to aquire thigns,and it keeps the overworld alive and well always populated with hunters and gatherers...not a big and beautiful but deserted paradise.
    Tera has become the epitome of a themeparkmmo.they just keep slapping portals in the same areas for 2 years,without bothering to even expand the story arc.And many people like me endure it cause we love the game so much.But it looks like the developers arent interested in keeping old players in,more like luring new players in with every arc,milk em out then when those players leave cause of the exhaustion of having to do everything again,they milk the newcomers.

    Im still hopeful with this new renewal of the game that they are doing,they will adress these points.And I hope you enjoy this lil story i cooked up as the maintenance was going on.I play this game a lot with my wife..heck this is where we met.I dont want it to whittle down into a endles themepark.I miss adventuring in the world itself.Please bring it back.

    That sounds very Guild Wars 2-esque, which, by the way, I LOVED its story. Sure it can get boring doing it over and over (like in TERA) but wow, running through all the zones on my first character and actually reading all the quests and NPC dialogue and story; it was amazing, to say the least.

    (No comment from me on the current endgame in GW2.)


    But yes, TERA can be so much more lore-immersive that it is a shame it has so much wasted potential because BHS caters to the casual and/or Elin-loving playerbase too much.
