Has anyone had any luck with fps increase with shrinking the overall UI?

I tried shrinking the charging gauge to the bare minimum and I don't lag after I release a charge skill anymore.
I would like to know if anyone has had any positive results with shrinking the UI scaling, but leaving the chat box and hp bar how it is.

That's cool. Perhaps it was either just shrinking it or you just hit a certain size that made it less lag inducing. Which prompts the question, what size did you set it at?
  • I also had luck with making my UI smaller, the 'Scale all' slider is at 75% and I messed with individual things to suit my needs, but saw a difference in fps drop in dungeons.

I would attach an image but it seems to be broken.

:open_mouth: My fps did increase after reducing my overall UI to 80% + having my shadow settings to 1.

I'm playing with full preset too.

The overall scaling is around 100-ish while the charging gauge, mini-map, and Main Menu UI portion is at 50(minimum).
They are the only parts of my UI I can afford to shrink to an unviewable size. Maybe I'll be able to shrink other parts of my UI further once I get a better system to play on.

I am starting to get 60fps a more often as a result of shrinking my UI at Preset 0 without dimming and setting my screen resolution to a mini-TV.
It's impossible for me to get 60FPS even on 720p with the system I have.

I see. Thanks for sharing. Hopefully some people might benefit from this.
