    The struggle for non-trade, highly-sought after crafting consumables (versas, obkmas, bark) is real and persistent. This is further exacerbated by the nearly non-existent designs. VM7 becomes a goal that individuals can chase, but only rarely achieve. Your average player won't stumble into VM7.

    Making items tradable (allowing currency to flow between players), making designs drop more frequently (depressing the cost of designs and promoting item creation), and creating more avenues for VM7 components (versas, obkmas, bark, runes) to be gathered would be ideal.

    For comparison: The Ace dungeon have a permanent etching available after 10 days of play (roughly). VM7 and VM6 items could be added to the ace store as well as Shadetop/shadecore (respectively) to allow a persistent player to achieve a level of attainment that is usually precluded. This could be assigned to a timeline commiserate to the expected income that En Masse expects from a player normally chasing higher-tiered gear should spend. Is that 60-days of played time, 90 days?

    Will this reduce attainment time for time-intensive players: yes. Does that reduce the profitability: no.

    From a "balancing" standpoint: The game has many different methods to incentivize players to actually play. This could be a quest or reward where you receive a VM7/6 component but you lose out on VG rewards or gold or other options. This may force the player to weigh chasing VM components with chasing MWA and other items.

    Ultimately all of this comes down to time. Most of us do not have enough time in the day to run SSNM/SSHM/MM endlessly until everything we need drops. We have jobs, lives, commitments. Having components of the game attainable and reasonable (and not limited by non-trade status or extreme rarity) would benefit everyone equally.

    If you have gotten this far and are not convinced, think of it this way: You are queued for FWC and you are finally matched with people and they are not in garbage gear. PVE players can finally have reasonable gear to PVP in and even PVP regularly. All players may even have a good time!

    Or, perhaps you like to PVE: You can rely on IM for reasonable players whose gear may make up for their lack of skill. And if you believe that only the skilled deserve VM7 +15 - There are plenty of those that wear VM7 +15 that are not skilled. There are better players out there, just with less time.

    End-game needs more purpose. But it is hard thing to do so what kind of Endgame addition can be made to make it more goal awarding? Some people suggested race wars as I see. I think it is a pretty good idea. There can be a new map where all races fight with eachoter. Each killing can give bonusus which we can trade for unique items or consumable items. This map can be open for 7/24 and every race contains its own base. There can be also a challenging boss in the middle of map which spawns daily or weekly so everytime it is spawned, races will fight each other in mean time they try to kill the boss. I think something like this would be awesome and entertaining. Also at weekend noons, bonuses for killing an enemy can be doubled so more player would join. Of course there is a drawback of this, most played race will be almost always winnings so we should avoid rewarding the winning race so much, it should be equal since it is for fun.

    you cant make race war in Tera just because there are some classes that are race lock... elins would be too powerful with reapers and ninjas.. human got brawler**... poor barakas...

  • - An 'extensive' Guild Achievement / Level System / Guild Member point system with guild weekly actually worth doing.
    - Guild Specific 15v15 PvP Battleground for rewards (premade).
    - Guild Specific 7 Player PvE Monster Mash for rewards.
    - Dungeon Player Rating, play your class decently and if everyone scores above a C rank, loot drop increases per rank average per every boss fight.

    Far Fetched Will Never Happen Options
    - Game Optimization.
    - New engine so said optimization can actually work.
    - World Server.
    - No Gender Lock.
  • The game used to be harder, and required you to work in a group to achieve your goals. When they dumbed it down, the game became pointless.
    Now people race to 65 and leave when they get bored.
  • 1. Optimize the game!
    2. Remove the avatar weapons- this is a mmo after all and you all have made it where you don't NEED a group to do bams and the lower lvl dungeons. Kinda ruins it for the newer players with how stupidly easy you all made it to lvl.
    3. More in game customization- Characters, hair, ears etc, maybe even accessories you can customize (wings, pets) Give us the ability to create our own styles and not look like half the people in game already!
    4. STOP GENDER LOCKING CLASSES!!
    5. Customizable guild housing (not just for the monster guilds, give the little ones some incentive to) Maybe with the ability to choose your own location and be able to defend it (guild vs guild but with a twist) and cant just go beat up some tiny guilds fort just cause you're bigger, make it matched small vs small etc etc.
    6. Fix the matching system in the bg.
    7. Add something other then just non stop questing and afking in velika and highwatch (flying mount races, fishing..something..)
    Thats all i can think of for right now lol

    i would do the following
    -remove timers for picking things up (quest and gathering)
    -no flying timer (can fly as long as wanted, sprint flying still takes up flying energy)
    -increase damage by 20% to ALL classes except the brawler ninja mystic and sorc.
    -change slayer dodge to 2x every 6 secs.
    -change gunner rolling reload to 2x every 6 secs
    -either increased rewards (quantity not quality , drop and vanguard) for all lvl 65 dgs OR removal of all dg run limits
    -instance matching would let you change your group role (eg, mystics and brawlers could que as dps. )depending on your gear,crystal, and glyph setup
    -7 more channels for the val oryn (highwatch and surrounding areas) to match other areas
    -flight guy would be a teleport guy and hed be able to tp you anywhere on the map as long as you can pay for it (would remove tp scrolls and village atlas)
    -increase player run speed ,mounted and unmounted, by 10% (in battle and out)
    -not able to be knocked off horse
    -"golden saucer-ish" area in highwatch that has a TCG, RTS, and FPS mini-games with rewards that can be banked
    -all items and currency are tradeable and no soulbinding
    -all achievements have material rewards of some kind
    -batch pickup (holding f would pick up the item selected and any items able to be picked up within 20 meters)
    -ladders would be able to be climbed down and remove the ridiculously long animation at the top of ladders
    -all quests able to be turned in remotely
    -quest tasks could be done in any order
    -quests can be auto added to you quest journal just by completing any of the tasks of said quest
    -tera store would double as a traveling merchant
    -More endgame content (the minigame area would help add to this ), including casual raid system (like wows looking for raid , or rifts raid adventures), and endgame story quests (like the quest you do for T8 armor in IOD)
    -revolving dynamic events (similar to rifts world events) and tie the world bosses into those events. make world boss spawn dependent on getting previous steps done rather then time based like now. any participation in event in any way gives rewards. reward amount based on participation points.
    -player housing that actually effects your character ( like better rested bonus for sleeping in a nicer bed and other furniture that provides temp and passive buffs)
    -perma ip/mac bans for players found to be griefing.
    -IOD bams would drop gold (but stay same strength, hydraths are a pain enuf as it is)

    You guys have amazing ideas that you want to see done in the world of TERA. I'm glad to say I finally have a grasp on a concept of what people really want when it comes to online gaming. Thank you!

  • I love the game, but there are some things that could be improved. It feels like the whole game needs to be redone as you level way too quickly, you don't need to explore the world and miss many of the beautiful areas in the game. In no particular order, here are my 2 cents:

    New story/quest and open world. The whole game needs to be revamped as you can play for a few hours and level from 0 to 65 and not know how to play your class. Where's the progression and questing, leveling and learning? Something needs to be done about this. I liked slowly leveling and dying multiple times as when I killed the mob I died from before I felt proud of myself and happy. This needs to be worked on... maybe stop with new classes, new dungeons, etc. and give the game a better revamp for new players just starting. More questing please.

    Ability to fly without bumping into invisible walls or altitude limits. If I see a tall buildings or mountain, I want to be able to fly up to it not hit an invisible wall. Hight limits are fine, if they are at least higher than the highest structure/landmark.

    More free emotes and not locked to any conditions such as having to wear specific outfits. I like the extensive selection I had on Final Fantasy Online.

    Most likely this will never happen, but better cut scenes, voice over, etc.

    More achievements for PVE and not dungeon related and maybe rewards like pets or mounts. It's fun to collect them, just like Pokémon....jk.

    More customization for characters. Ability to change more features like height, weight, eye color, etc. I want to be able to make my character without something that's pre-made. The ability to change hair style without changing my elin's ears and even have an option to change the color of the ears and tails. Just more options on customization!

    Flying mounts such as gryphons and western dragons or the dragon from Kaitor that you ridentify instead of a pegasus. You can't introduce flying mounts and not have a dragon.

    Update/upgrade all original classes and let all races be able to choose any class they want. No more gender lock or race lock on class! I want an elin gunner!

    I liked the old island of dawn starter area. It was more open and I could party with friends. The new starter island is basically solo. I don't like solo... I prefer to have my friend do all the work while I sit back and occasionally heal them.

    - Lore Libraries in Velika, Allemantheia, Kaiator and Highwatch.
    - Housing System.
    - Optimization.
    - A label on all non-canon items to describe them as non-canon and just for the goofs. (Ex: Cars with a small message that says "This mount is non-canon to the world of Arborea and is avalaible only for cosmetic and fun purposes."
    - More fashion coupon items that cover your whole character.
    - More incentives to level up reputation centers rather than just the exclusive Panther Mount.
    - Rework on professions to make all of them useful in one way or another.
    - Gear balancing to remove Tiers 5, 6 and 7 since those are never used by players anymore unless they are super ancient. (This means that some tiers will be cut and the upper ones will be lowered to fit the missing tier numbers)
  • More elins.
  • - Remove Avatar weapons
    - Less XP events.
    - More side quests (restore old and add new)
    - Put some "secret" villages or NPC's out in the far-ends of the world. Perhaps a hidden quest can be found out there?
    - Less xp events
    - Change some level requirements for dungeons (currently BoL is 20, but you don't get the story quest until you hit just past Celestial Hills. At our current state, you're level 30-something by the time the BoL is received (this is, of course, taking side-quests into the equation).
    - Seriously nerfing the amount of XP events this game can have in its life time.




  • -Stuff to do that will actually benefit your character outside of BG/DG that way waiting for BG/DG isn't such a waste of time.

    -Stop gender/race locking classes. Not everyone wants to be a little girl on mini skirts.

    -Give us other opportunities to make gold aside from BG/DG.

    -Let us customize skill bars while in flying mounts.

    -Fix the way BG is sorted by win/loss ratio. Kind of like a rating system that way you aren't always stuck with noobs/afk'ers/people who expect to be carried every BG.

    -More Feedstock

    -More Masterwork

    -Stronger Outside BAMS with a chance for a valuable item.
  • Revamp healers to the point where they are almost seem like new classes with new concepts. I'd also completely overhaul the crafting system - I personally loved the crafting system in BnS, although that also has some profit balance issues.
