Can't see AOE Indicators in SSNM

Can't see AOEs from first boss pillars, can't see the lasers on the Dakuryon, can't see cage, double circles, circle, flame wing indicators at Dakuryon. FIx pls @EME.

    Look at/observe/learn the boss maybe? Don't depend on the telegraphs. Every skill set the boss does has a very distinct animation. Look at Yosha's guide. His guide is very informative with visual aid + descriptions

    I don't think he means stuffs like Imperator's swipe/back-swing, but stuff like cage and its slices/rings rendering. Some people have problem with cage and pattern rendering back before they "fixed" it in SCHM.

    You can't just guess at where the cage aoes are or where the safety spots are on second boss. They're randomized (as in, you don't know where they're going to start). If you can't see them, you're [filtered] unless you get lucky. It's not like the bosses point at them for you.

    Probably the same graphic bug people had with Fulminar and Darkan's cages, or carpet lines in FINM. They fixed those, but I guess whatever they did didn't apply to future dungeons. Not sure if there's a real workaround to get them to show for you, but I know people used to let Darkan sit there for about two minutes after he respawned, and they'd be able to see the cage then.
  • Have you try waiting a few minutes before starting the fight so your system can completely render the encounter? It's stupid I know, but this usually happens with people that lacks in the CPU/GPU department. Many people who have had this sort of problem usually resolve it by waiting about 2-3 minutes before starting the actual fight in order to give the player's system time to render. Let your party know ahead of time and I am sure most groups (especially friends you run with) will be more than happy to take a few minutes to let you render. Hope this helps.

    I don't really have a problem with the swipe/back-swing I can dodge that, indicators would be nice to have but it's not really needed. Everything else is what I'm more worried about. If I can't see the cage patterns/circles/double circles, I would die alot. I actually do alot because I can't see any of these things. My constant dying just makes things worse for my friends because they would be down a healer and I wouldn't be able to cast e-stars, triple-nem, mana charge, or heal when I'm dead.

    I've tried this before backing during SCHM and FINM, waiting just never worked for me. ;w;

    That was my point lol, the person I quoted misunderstood the problem.

    Also, can you tell us what's your computer/laptop spec?

    I really don't think it has to do with low specs, honestly. I pretty much play on a potato (AMD FX6300 CPU, outdated Radeon GPU) and have never had issues with decals loading other than one from Rokdos last patch (which they fixed eventually). I've heard of people with high grade computers having this problem, and on the other end of the spectrum, people with integrated graphics, so I don't think it's necessarily hardware related.

    I think there was some .ini change you could make to possibly fix it, if I remember correctly from the old forums, but you'd have to do some digging to find it, and I don't think it was a fix for everyone (some people had the line set to enabled to begin with and still had the issue). Worth a try though if waiting isn't helping.

    You could also try aggroing and resetting the boss. It sounds stupid just like waiting, but that did fix FI Rokdos telegraphs for some of us missing his last patch. Unfortunately, that wasn't an across-the-board fix either. It didn't work for everyone.

    I have tried the thing the .ini but it didn't fix it. My friends also have better computers and they suffer from the same problems but after one death for them, it usually fixes it from what I've experienced with them. For me, it just takes longer to load, others time I could spend entire fights blind.

    Sometimes, I dodn't see laser in DF. DF last boss's laser is invisible sometimes. It's really lame when I tank. Can't even guess and iframe it.

    in this case since most people stop dpsing and focus on dodging, i would focus on following someone close by. not to the point you body block them (lord knows how many times i'v done that) but if yo know someone who has them rendered, you could follow them. that's how i frame lasers in dfnm hen they don't load for me.

  • If your effects level lower is then 3 I've heard of those indicators simply not rendering, but they do render if you turn the effects up. Personally they have always rendered for me but that's what I've heard from friend playing on toasters.

    You recomend put a number higher then 3?
