Brawler and gunner skill special effects OFF?

Okay I've spent quite a lot of time looking but couldn't find anything. MAYBE someone knows with what game files you need to mess up to disable classes or at lest brawlers/gunners skills special effects? Like my god it kills FPS at insane level... And there is no option to disable skill special effects wtf x.x

there is no way to turn them off, but there is a way to lessen the effect quite a bit. in tera folder, go to client>s1game>config then click s1engine. (open s1engine in notepad) do a search for 'maxpart' without the '' and it should take you to a line that says MaxParticleResize=0. just so it's known, 0 is infinity, and 1 is lower, 2 is lower than 1, etc. however whenever i try to set it to 1 or 2, game crashes, so i have mine set to 3. it greatly diminishes the particle effects on skills like jackhammer and mana missiles, and i think reaper skills like shadow burst

Holy damn dude! Someone give him a medal!!! I went from 5-10fps boss battes (a bit better if no brawler/gunner) to freakin 45FPS boss battle at dungeon with full party and gunner in it. While not at boss it was 55-60fps. Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan! You saved me holy moly! God it feels great, thaaaaaaanks!

En Masse: Any optimization will be made when Bluehole feel it's needed.
  • You can also lower effects in game options

I just tried this as I have huge lag issues with ninjas around (not so much brawler/gunner) and I have to say... I'd suggest NOT using this if you run DFNM/DFHM. It makes the lasers nearly invisible.
  • I did try this over the weekend and it makes a difference for me, screen looks likes less of a mess of SFX and it runs smoother. DF laser are less visible but not invisible as before. I can't comment on the other dungeons. @ OP great find in the .ini files.
