or better yet the old block macro for lancers, that was hilarious, spam that fast enough and you could lag entire maps. glorious.
you must seriously be running on a literal potato if mystic motes freeze you-- also why would dropping motes be a bannable offense? that's beyond stupid.
I am running on a literal potato. Mystic motes freeze me for a couple of seconds but that's okay, so does everything else. Opening my inventory, using a charm, someone casting a skill, the animation of a dead mob evaporating...
I would never report a mystic for dropping motes. I like motes.
You have never witnessed TRUE HORROR.
Using motes or other skills isn't against any rules. If the player admits they're doing it just to lag/harass people then that's one thing, and we can look into that if you submit a CS ticket. Some people just like spamming motes, though, and there are ways to avoid it if your PC has trouble handling that.
The motes in Highwatch last time, were a sight to behold!
You say you've played the game four years? People have been doing this for four years; I've been around roughly the same amount of time. You should always stick to lower channels if your computer has a hard time rendering things in high-population areas. Unless you're doing something like Nexus and the Highwatch "Nexus," there's literally 0 reason to be on channel one ever. If your friends refuse to move, then find a new friend on a lower channel.
To my knowledge, people who spam motes around NPCs can get hand-slapped for it. An old a-hole I was familiar with on AV used to do it every Nexus, then they got banned for a week for harassment.
Reminds me of when ninjas were new, and some ninja decided to "mimic" me (forget what the skill is called, the useless one that makes you look like another character). They ran around in circles saying "LOL". I guess maybe they thought they were confusing me, like I didn't know that ninjas had that ability. Great fun for them while I just rolled my eyes.
Later on, when I was leveling my own ninja, some ninja did that to me again. Once theirs wore off, I used the same skill on them, and followed them around. They seemed thoroughly confused. Especially when I did it a second time and kept following them. Until they eventually got annoyed and teleported away. LOL.
Juvenile fun works both ways. You troll me? No I troll YOU.
Ooh... does that give me God Mode?
