6 months.
Priest's one saving grace was that double healer parties weren't too inefficient. With the change to that only the good healer class will be relevant. Not even useful as buffbots anymore. Might as well delete them and rename mystic to "healer". With DPS and tank they at least pretend to balance them, and are actually doing it beyond the flavor of the month newest broken classes. With healers they've decided that one is easy and gets worse results while another is hard and gets better results, nevermind that the game is actually easier now for the one that is supposed to be hard and it still gets far better results. Ninjas are getting nerfed, the other DPS buffed. Brawler has already been hit by the nerf stick hard. Healers? One is specifically designed to give worse results even if you're a better player than someone playing the other healer class.
That's really going to suck - my best friend plays a priest and really likes buffing people, and whenever we go our separate ways after playing together they bestow upon me some buffs to make whatever I'm off to do easier. It's a nice little gesture that makes both of us feel good, a little sign of friendliness and caring.
I understand BHS is doing it to combat buffbots (ETA: and to apparently combat the mystic/priest imbalance), but it just seems like another one of those decisions that hurts all the other players way more. It's saddening.
But let's see what that brings.
And on top of that, they're penalizing priests by disallowing double healer comps. Who's going to want a priest now when crit aura is so strong vs 25 power? This fixes nothing.
Oh, but at least warriors won't i-frame Energy Stars anymore. For the priests that won't be playing. Hue.
I guess the problem here is that we aren't seeing any kind of roadmap or developement overview so we can get the logic behind these changes, we're only seeing a lot of modifications in many aspects of the game without any indicator of the ultimate goal behind them as a whole.
both of these two basically
i think people would rather have the aoe heals and more safety net playstyle that priest provides, shakan and estars rather than mystics crit aura and a free res from vow. That's honestly how i see it
Duo healing is something that my friends and i run in every party because 2 of us dont want to do anything else. We dont enjoy dpsing, we dont enjoy tanking so we run priest/mystic. it worked out well for us so the endurance debuff changes basically blasts our entire party into forcing one to pick up a dps, drop party and force them to replace us with a dps, or subject our party to slow runs (which is awful and we really wouldnt do to our friends.) idk im saddened at the fact that my healing bro and i can basically no longer be the healing support team in 5man dungeons which was probably some of the most fun i've ever had on this game.
If I have to get a whole new set of gear so soon, I'm going to be pissed.
i was expecting a BUFF on healers jewelry.. not a [filtered] NERF.... wtd theya re thinking? are they high? are they drunk?
those 2 last sets os jewelry were a JOKE for healers.... the healing one doesnt even give u healing power.... same stats as a tank....
and they released one extra set for dps.... they dont want s to double heal, but they want to nerf jewelry... this rly [filtered] me off...
tbh i think they dont even play the damn game...
I still remember the days where people would poop on mystics and would always prefer priests.
Happy days, take that priests. :^)
I'd love to hear rationale for that. Or maybe better not.
Or actually I can imagine why. Let's [filtered] up buffing, so people more happily accept priest to parties.
Hey BHS, why don't you [filtered] balance things properly ?
