Ping spikes for no reason from the past 2 updates.

So i used to play with 90 - 120 ping max and it would never go above 120, it was always good, now after the past month of updates for no reason at all my ping will be at minimum 150 and it constantly spikes over 300+ ping, i haven't done anything to my connection, ensured that they were all plugged in properly and numerous resets for the connection to no success, even while they occur i'd do a speed test and my internet connection would be stable, so why the hell is the ping constantly spiking THIS bad to where i can't even play tera? What the hell is going on?

    The game simply is not optimized mate. It really isn't.

    The game isn't optimized in terms of FPS and performance, which i spent a hell of a lot of time to fix, but after i fixed all that, then a month later THIS?! That's so frustrating! Then i had to change all the files back to normal in case that caused it (which it didn't) and now i have no idea of what the issue is. But i doubt the game being poorly optimized has anything to do with it as that deals with performance issues not connection issues.

    I was wondering why I was lagging so much during the weekends I can play. I play at 250-300ms usually, but even then spiking to 1k wasn't normal.

    2 patches ago, I would spike up to maybe 300 or so just on the Island of Dawn. Annoying, especially because EME identified that they knew it was a problem (and never fixed it), but not too awful. Since this recent patch I'm going up to 1-2k, it can happen anywhere, and it's sitting that way for a solid 15 seconds which is a bit past 'annoying'.

    My regular ping is usually in the 60's and there's been no change in my internet service that would have caused this. Starting to get tired of watching myself rubber band....

    If no one's willing to even let us know a thing about if this is going to or being resolved anytime soon, then we should create various tickets on this subject, who knows when it will get resolved but i'm having thoughts about if its even worth it to login at this point.

    Still having ping spikes, not as bad but settles at 150, i miss 90 - 120 ping and no proper reason why we're getting these spikes still.

    I've been getting these as well... it's unplayable when it happens. I think it's partially because of Bamarama.

    But over the last few patches, the ping spikes have become more frequent with the TERA servers. And here's the thing: my ping to the Google DNS servers doesn't spike or vary massively, nor to other services I frequent. Only with TERA.

    This issue isn't with the game, the issue is with the dark fiber provider that Enmasse uses. They're giving [filtered] poor performance lately for some reason. There's really not much EME can do honestly. I'm sure they're in a contract and may be able to break said contract due to a breach in SLA, but even that is a long shot and they'd have to find a new provider, which isn't cheap.

    That's a bit disappointing to hear, but i'll give the ping a try but because of that, literally lost all motivation to play tera lately which sucks because its still a good game.
