Relic weapon question

I'm sorry if this isn't really the right place for this question, but I thought it fit best here. That said on to the question.

Today my friend wasn't paying strict attention apparently while breaking things down and accidentally dismantled their newly gained relic weapon, I didn't know what to tell them when they asked if they could refarm it so I thought I'd ask here. Can they refarm it or are they out of luck until next one in about 5 levels, and have to just buy something to fill the gap off of TB?

    They'd have to either write a ticket to support (they could take a while to respond, especially since tomorrow is Saturday) or just use a different weapon until they can farm the next avatar. You can't get relic pieces of a weapon you already obtained.

    Unfortunately once you get the avatar weapon for your level range the game just puts in queue the next one, that means that you can't refarm it, you'll only get the feedstock shards now. Keep this in mind and tell your friend to look carefully what item he's dismantling next time!

    If your friend has some Vanguard credits, he can buy an Avatar weapon smart box for his level.
