It's not possible to give notice for when the server crashes. That is, by definition, unplanned and unexpected downtime.
And how on earth are they going to let you know "guess what? we're going down"... It's not like that. Some of us works would be perfect if they'd let us know when they're going to freeze or crash. >:)
