The guild bonus would be something like increase pvp dmg/defend or something, or very minor one like our current exarch buff (5 pvp attack/defend or 20% exp or so). It shouldn't affect solo player that much, and you can always make your own personal guild and get the benefit, since it's said in the note that even smaller guild can have the full benefit from guild buff just like big guild.

I'd prefer if they limit the number of ppl allowed for each guild in the new GvG raid though. That would promote more "player-made guild alliances" rather than forcing everyone into a few HUGE guilds and zerg fest. 1 full raid per guild should be the perfect number. If there's no limit per guild then there's no meaning in making alliance, since they can just merge guilds instead.

@Nuvolebianche It doesn't matter if large guilds spread the money thinner. Do you think the #1 guilds are going to do it for the money?

I'm sure they will be adding alliances, which can help. But I also think that the system needs ways for an upset victory.

A smaller guild needs a way to win, aside from just winning the large skirmishes.

I think it's good to balance GvG around small skirmishes and not large zerg fest, but I don't think they should make it easy for smaller guilds to win. It's a battle royale, if you make all guilds have the same chance of winning people would abuse it by splitting into HUGE number of small guilds (harder to find and take down all of their outposts while they can still maintain their number by zerging in waves or sniping objectives). Small guilds can win if they ally together, and that's all they need.

Also it would be nice to give more player-interactive-ish reward for winning guild aside from the taxed gold, since I doubt big guilds would do it mostly for the gold anyway. Something that can create conflict between guilds like the old vanarch system where one guild can [filtered] off the whole server and get rekt.

I said "upset victory," meaning, small guilds shouldn't have an advantage. But they should have a chance...

Tying any sort of stat boost to guilds is a bad move in my opinion. Now, I won't jump ahead since we don't know what stats will be affected and what to do in a guild to get those stats. What if everything only involves a stat boost while in GvG fights? On the flip side, what if it involves all aspects of the game? We don't know yet so let's not jump the river before even getting to it's shore.

I'm glad Tera is not a faction based game, where pvp is very prominent. BnS is like that so I'd say that's a pvp focused game with some pve aspects. But we already know that kTera doesn't have full pve servers, and anyone playing there can get ganked while leveling up. Definitely not a game I'd play. And I REALLY hope NA Tera doesn't become that. Though there's quite a few people here who would LOVE to make the game full on pvp. Again, I won't jump the river since we have not reached that state.

Hmm. I'm really nervous about this, and knowing TERA they'll probably screw up at first. :/

If this happens, be prepared for a massive fallout both on the PVE/Casual/TERA Fan community and the short run revenue inflow for En Masse Publishers.

Everyone uner 65 has the "Cannot be attacked by outlaws" buff that people under 12 have here.

"The spawned monster can be eliminated as a single raid, and depending on the contribution to the elimination, drops will be distributed to parties up to third place, so despite failure to complete the preoccupancy mission, you can compete for the drops by participating in contents."

this bothers me , it sounds like the top three dps will get rewards and the rest not? they didnt specify that contribution would be dps based but i mean, what else would it be based on ? unless theres some mechanic added in the quest itself to distribute the contrib pts. either way , sounds like only 3 ppl out of the raid will get anything... hard pass for me (as is happening with so much of the new content for me. if you put in time , you deserve rewards, period).

I think it was top 3 raids get rewarded with loot.
