Server Maint without InGame or Forum Announcement

So that wasn't just me then. Yeah...no announcement in game this time. I'm hoping it is just the maintenance and nothing severe, but...I don't see why it wasn't announced in game at least.

Not only, with Aces Wild patch, maint was on Thursday, not Tuesday.

Because that's the day they released the patch. If there's a patch coming out on a Thursday or if there's a holiday, then there's no Tuesday maintenance. Otherwise its always on Tuesday, at the exact same time every week.

That and if there's no maintenance, they usually say something, usually on the forums.

Still, no ingame announcement or forum announcement.

You should know my now that maintenance is going to happen, regardless of an announcement in game. If there's no posts on forums saying "Hey there's no maintenance today!", then there's going to be a weekly maintenance. Everyone should know this by now.

Still, No Announcement.
They are running a company, they are running a business, they have a product to sell, they have customers, they have responsibilities.

Nevertheless, even though people know that most of the time, maintenance is every Tuesday from 07:00 to 09:00 it may happen that people are so busy doing what they are doing that they forget or don't see the time pass by... Or even forget it is Tuesday if they are on holidays and lose a bit the track of the week (many people are in holidays in July!).

So an in-game announcement would be the correct thing to do.

Yea, the issue is the lack of announcement in game...I am used to lack of communication in every other aspect, but it is lame of them to not even make sure the in game announcements were working.

Not going to lie. Was thinking of streaming.
Was setting everything up with Nightbot, Moobot, Finding a playlist, Tweaking OBS. then the game just dropped and i was like *Waat?*
Checked server status - All servers down. Scratched my head for a moment and then realized it was Tuesday.
But a announcement in-game would have been nice :surprised:

Sometimes when the server crash, like we had Saturday, the maintenance message doesnt show.

In my 3 years playing tera i never saw a Tuesday without maintenance.

The only exceptions are when there is a holiday or there is a patch on Thursday( and this happen there a forum post saying that will not have maintenance)

Also alot of the thursday maint. are for hotfixes.

There IS an announcement INGAME when they do the Tuesday server maintenance. It states it one 1 hour before shut down, then 45 minutes, then 30, then 15, then 1 minute. Are you blind or have you never played this game and seen these bloody messages? They also don't need to post on the forums when they are doing routine maintenance at the same time almost every Tuesday, if you've played this game for more than 2 weeks this should be known..

and you just skip, as i said if the server crash = no maintenance message. was always like that. MT and TR crashed on weekend, Both didnt had messages. while the servers that didn't crashed had the message

also the servers are up already

I saw it? It was right there in big gold letters. Even if it didn't show for you, you don't seem like you just started this game yesterday, you should know about the SCHEDULED maintenance on Tuesdays... The only possible reason you would be complaining here is just for trying to be a troll and stirring up trouble when there isn't any need for it.

I really don't get why people are arguing? OP wants announcements in game, as they almost always happen, so when they don't it sucks. The end. boom. no need to get to nasty and argue

Good for you (your server) then. Not everyone had the announcement.
