well at least give free transfert to people in highwatch if you merge them in pvp server
It should just not be to MT/TR. They're both bloated as it is.

Literally everyone preaches that they're the most populated server, influencing all new players to join it, and thus making the server population issue worse and worse.

Let's also just put out the fact that a lot of guilds died because of the unrestricted free transfers.
  • Out of all the feedbacks given, i think the best one is:

Players who flag themselves as "Open to owPVP" are the only ones who can PVP and be PVP-ed.

This gives PVP players their PVP kick and PVE players free from worries of PVP (and the option to join in the fun when they LIKE to, and not being forced to PVP).
That being said, I support the server merge regardless of what happens between the PVE and PVP scene. ALL 3 servers are badly in need of activity / population
  • i don't know much about those servers since i don't play on them but i think open world pvp only at 65 is an uniquely interesting and great idea

^ Just saying Alliance is going to be gone, Crusade leaving will diminish the number of rank spammer premades, OWPvP HARDLY EVER affects PvE players even in PvP servers.

Making it PvP65 will really not affect players one bit if you are the casual that only grinds IoD for dailies. It will not affect people who are always sitting in towns to [filtered]/Chat/WaitForLFG etc. It will not affect BG and dungeon IMS. If there are OW events like the current one even then people cant be bothered to turn on outlaw to try and zerg you (source: Mount Tyrannas)

If the economy can be better for a very tiny sacrifice (I wouldn't even call it a sacrifice it is a complete buff to QoL for me) I would do it. Merging 3 servers together will turn out much better than merging into current ones, which could deter the top guilds in the smaller servers and not improve the economy.

If you're gonna do a server merge then you shouldn't change the mechanics of the server... idk about most people but I enjoy making level 20s and pk'ing other 20s. It's completely different from lvl 65 because it's less about gear and more about player skill. If you're gonna merge the servers then you should make vot and lot merge into mt so there's no need to change any mechanics, and Highwatch and tr (since its equally dead) into ch so there's still a big pve server. And if you think that would over load servers then let me assure you the 20 people in vot make 0 difference

You're making nosense merging the most dead servers with ther high populated sv... do you want [filtered] the economic of those servers?.
It only will make a populated server more populated abd disturb its economy

I think the problem with that is the fact that it requires additional development. It's probably not something EME can do easily.

With the next kTera patch already on their plate, I doubt they'll be able to get to that any time soon.

Letting HW people transfer out of the new server destroys the purpose of the merge. People crying about OWPVP in this thread don't realize how little impact it'll have.

sorry man, but many people didnt know than highwatch will turn to pvp when they joined the server, so now enmasse come and say to them they can die in hell, their server will turn to pvp without their consent

i could understand if they merge highwatch with a pve server

so by respect to those players enmasse should give them free transfert

and if lot and vot are unable to have a good pvp server together, then they deserve to dissapear
  • Why not the other way around - I want to see that Tera in general game about PVE. In fact, the server, where we play and try to capture those who played here, they say - you can go wherever you want. #GoToYourPVPserver.

I resent not too PVP, as an attempt to impose the idea of what is good and what is bad.
I think the only players HW can offer the idea of conversion server, where they play in the PVP server.
  • You can avoid PVP easily because open-world PVP is basically dead. You can also switch channels, or just hang out in town and queue or LFG for whatever dungeon. And most people don't PK or PVP or grief people without a reason, so just make it a new level 65 PVP server.

    VS.
If open-world PVP is dead, and 99% people don't PK then... why does it matter? People can queue BGs, do GvG, whatever the alliance replacement is, and duel and deathmatch, so just make it a new PVE server.

Both are fairly legitimate arguments; basically the same idea from different perspectives.

    I'm crying rn

For players who chose a PVE server, open world PvP can be distressing even if only at 65.

    Our suggestion:
Players at 65 can opt into pvp or neutral, which would be permanent to the character. PvP can PK others and get PKed. Neutral would be immune to this but cannot PK others. There would be some indicator like outlaw that shows who's a PvPer and who's neutral.

I understand where your coming from, but in my experience on MT, this hasn't really been the case. I've wandered the lands incognito and even idled in PK zones and come back after hours without coming back dead. But maybe i'm lucky and an outlier?

It is Distressing us GM Treeshark..... Please stop ForcePVPServers on HW players

What could be more fun than killing a lowbie with thousands of infamy? Then he gets salty but u r like"u deserve it, stay in safezone to get rid of your infamy.", man that feels good.
This makes my day when I am tired of grinding.
Now u want to make LOT a semi pseudo pvp server where my fun of hunting lowbie infamy will be no more?
And then ppl will lose their fun at Crescentia. Plus, I use my lowbie to trick higher lv to kill me to give them free infamy which is also fun.
Without the OWpvp, infamy stuff, the game is not complete in my opinion.

Or u can do this, leave one ch each map for ppl scared of OWPVP, we call it the absolute safe ch. And each player can set it as default ch when entering the area. Or other way around based on the population of HW players who hate pvp. Set one pvp ch and others as safezone.

Time to educate people on how PvP servers work

Safe Zones: All Towns, Some Rest Spots, All OW dungeons (those with hidden maps and floors and stuff), IoD, Stepstone Isle.

World Boss is too clearable in 1 now, which meant that people wont camp these spots to kill people that much anymore.

Also Gathering is going to be near useless, so once again moot point.

Clearing those 100BAMs stuff... PLEASE. 99% of PvPers cant be bothered to kill you. The 1% wouldnt go to a hard to access area too.

Tours of Duty will probably be the only one affected. And how many of the casual community actually does them?

Most of the PvPers left HW BECAUSE there was no competition. If there was they would have stayed. And I believe quite a few names will return in the new server. (Inb4 Honor rank 1 again)

reading everything that pvp players wrote here im slowly changing my mind... guess im used to other games...
but im still worried about events...

so one more question to pvp servers: How the bam mongo event went? do ppl pk to kill it?
  • I think we should just try it and if you dont like it then send a ticket. Ez
  • aeee98aeee98 ✭✭✭✭
Cant quote cuz I am on mobile.

Uh from what I know seeing that there wasnt drama when I was on, I dont think people go outlaw just to zerg peeps.

I am pretty sure someday playercreated events like that popo soccer that I saw if in pvp will have players being "bodyguards" for the participants lol.

But as mentioned, 99% of the community cant be bothered to grief for 1 kill.
