This solution require new programming so won't happen
For those asking about what happens if you go over char limit cap
Treeshark said last night on HW. If you go over cap you'll just have a long list of characters. and wont be allowed to make any new ones untill you delete and go back under cap.
If players get server transfers for a minimum of 5 characters, its fine.
Looking the part above and the way this thread is going, HW will not get serve merged.
But if in the future HW ask for server merge will be a little awkward, right?
they can merge later with pve server
Yes, it would be...
Perhaps this whole controversy could be settled if we knew something: Will the merge plan be compromised if HW refuses to be part of it? Can the merge happen without HW?
I mean, we all agree that giving free transfers out of HW before or after the merge might not be the solution, that kind of maneuvers is what left LoT and VoT in their current state, however, the claim about the lack of endgame community seems to come from the few hardcore player groups in HW and they would be the ones who would benefit the most from a merge, now: are they willing to get over the lvl 65 PvP characteristic in exchange of a more healthy endgame player base and economy?
Next is: we can also think of other options, in the Go Berserk! patch PvP would be turned off during Dreamstorm, vanarchs also could turn PvP off, the old nexus turned PvP off too, but the restricion in those cases was zone-wise instead of channel-wise it seems. When gunners, brawlers and ninjas were released there was no attemp to turn off PvP in low level areas; during the ramdom hunting events from the CM in servers like LoT, PvP didn't get switched off either, this makes me think the current client/server structure might not allow the feature to be deactivated so easily, if that's the case and it requires any special game coding then you all can say "bye-bye" those options along with any special tweaks to the outlaw system.
The remaining options are to proceed with the merge to a PvP 65 server regardless of how many HW would really agree, or merge only LoT and VoT and offer free transfers only to that specific new server.
Most of the people complaining about the merger are not people who bring attention to themselves when playing the game.
what if can go to both side
what if the new server is pve server
what if tomorow mount tyranna turn to pve server
so dont make a free transfer... just a specifc transfer OUT of HW for those who are not willin to join pvp server.
8 times so far
The Glorious Argument!
What he said literally has nothing to do with that lol
He isnt even talking about Highwatch in any part, he is just saying how the OW PvP is and he didnt say anything wrong.
And the guy who said " you didnt stay long enough to make enemies "..thats basically the idea, ppl who PK or get killed by them usually have/gave reasons for this to happen.
