Awakened Enchanting...
I was wondering for all the people that have +15 gear, how much did you save up before you attempted to +15? It seems like, to me, that the people that get 60 tries just for +13 enchant in short 1-5 tries. (Or is it better to enchant in these small burst just in-case your luck is better the next time?) Currently I've tried around 37 tries and still +12 and it is really getting me annoyed. I personally tried enchanting 7 times in a row.. then 10 then finally 20. All attempts were a fail, as stated before. I'm curious to know if I should be saving for 50 or 75 tries before trying to enchant.

I've had variable luck with awakened in enchant. I had a generation chest that made it to +15 in 6 attempts flat (prior to the changes to the system). With the current system my lowest amount of tries is in the mid 40s, my highest is near 80.
The quality of alkahest doesn't effect the success rate of awakened enchanting, it just reduces the cost.
Okay... but... um... that's still a good thing, right?
I just know that better alkahest helps a lot when trying to +12 something, figured it would work the same for +15...? Increased success, reduced cost, at the end of the day they both kind of have the same result, don't they?
I typically use my premium, extensive alkahest for enchanting to +12 and stick to masterwork alkahest for +13-15.
As for it being the same result not really. If awakened enchanting was like russian roulette, higher quality alkahest would just mean a cheaper bullet. The chances of winning are still the same.
131 tries to +15 for my armor
currently at 85 tries to +13 for my weapon
For example, got my vm7 fist to +15 in 50-60 tries while doing it all 1 shot. Got my vm6 shuriken to +15 in 80+ tries doing in parts.
For the other extreme end, 130+ tries in parts yet +13 vm5 gun
B. Believe that there is a higher entity influencing your rng -> Pray to rngesus, skywhale, FSM, [put your god here], use your brooch, get buffed, go to Fovarth in a party, get a mystic with crit aura, go full crit setup or wear nothing, empty your inventory and only keep your enchanting mats, try to stand behind Fovarth during enchanting for backcrits, blackmail Fovarth or sacrifice some elins.
And still lose your mwa (but less if you get lucky).
Higher level alkahests are only used if you are that desperate, and in current patches you shouldn't be that desperate at all considering slaughter can clear everything.
There's no enchantment correction. The cost is extremely high (200 Tier X Feedstock and 100 MWA/85 Extensive/60 Prem for weapons) per try, and different alkahests have no additional chance to succeed.
i always sacrifice a virgin computer before i start it....
and even if its RNG, i like to do it bit by bit.... i only try 5 times per day max... cause even if all 5 fail, i wont feel that bad.. cause once i saved 30 tries and did all in one day.. i got ultra sad.... ):
to fail little by little is much better for me... i dont feel so sad lol..
but thats totally personal
If I remember correctly, the KR version sorta had some advantage when using premium/extensive alkahest (no enchantment correction, though), at least back when they introduced the +15 system they advertised it iwth premium alks. In the NA verision we lost the extra success rate from special alkahests and those only affect the amount of alk you need per attempt, however, we already need only half the amount of alk per attempt compared to the KR version (and that's scary).
