Well I hope there will be a period of time that those affected get a free server switch. It's a cool idea for a server, but those who want to PVE only and joined a PVE server with the express desire to not have to PVP at all if they don't want to are going to suffer...
Or even if they just simply prefer the PVE environment...
I think most people in general join PVE to play more casually... My whole guild does not want this change and most of my friends just want to casually play with me... so my greatest concern is now I'm literally not going to have anyone to play with because they will all stop playing and I will just get my lvl 65 characters wailed on while I can't do anything. Because for me, I can't even duel... I drop to 1-0fps... so this merge is literally suggesting hell on earth for me. I play PVE because I personally do not like to fight others... at all...
I also can't be the only person who doesn't like to for other reasons like internet and lower end computers...
I have invested hundreds of my hard earned money into the server I play on and the characters I have made... and now I may not want to play on it at all. For me this is the worst possible thing to happen.

Most of my guild members and friends don't have the money to switch servers either and/or don't want to start over.
With the money I have invested though I will switch to the roleplay server if this goes through... but I don't even know how switching works and if I'll be satisfied...

I'm just confused why you can't merge PVE servers into a PVE server...? Make a new server with this lvl 65 PVP or merge other PVP servers into it? This could work... but in my opinion and definitely not for me personally, it won't work like this by forcing PVE players into it.
Such a major upheaval will leave a chunk of the community all over the place and dissatisfied...

Someone suggested it here I see and my friend suggested it too, but mentioned GTAV's solution. If you do this, why can't there be a passive mode players can choose to be in so they can't be attacked if they don't want to PVP?

and before people rant at me saying I just make alts blah blah blah. I am one of the few end game players here on HW.

Well this seems pretty simple to me you guys are considering merging PVP and PVE servers many PVE players despise open world pvp. Make a option for pve players to opt out of owp or plan on losing the money of many of these players. There are already many gripes with TERA awakened gear enchanting being a very large one for me DON'T GIVE ME ANOTHER REASON TO LEAVE.

If it doesn't fit me, I'll leave. Probably leave tera after my elite expired. I'm not dragging other but its my preferences after all. I play what I like and stop when I hated it.

It kind of entertains me to see how those, who are willing to merge and become a hybrid server trying to convince the "pacifist" ones that they won't PK them in a very offensive language, that even has to be filtered

Looks like: "You do not like PvP? Die, you, noob!" - BAM! - "We only killed you because you were annoying with your statements here, you deserved it!"

HW is not 100% against merge and I do not think it was ever said we are. As many players as you find who supports the merge, as many you will find to be against it. Survey won't work though: we are all on different time zones, many of us do not play more than 4 hours per day. Will you sit all day in HW and ask everyone, who logs in for their opinion? None of you, who claim to have made a research on HW, asked me or any of my friends/guild mates for their opinion. Survey on forums also won't work well, because not that many people of HW come to read forums. Even now, when such a hot discussion is happening.

There should be a choice given to HW players.

P.S. I can not say for other players, but I am not in a list of those who have cleared SSHM simply because my game freezes for me even in SA, WH and SSNM - it's not only an FPS drop down to 1-2 FPS, it's a proper freeze for up to 30 secs, which makes those dungeons unplayable for me. And I can not afford "better PC", because... not everyone can

Since we need to agree with a pvp server they should merge the 3 servers and make a new PVE one. Don't worry pvpers, you can avoid pve not doing dungeons or anything related and pvp through bgs/gvgs/duels. Make it happen, Treeshark. They only want a more populated server.

Now we gonna have a T9/10 +15 pkfest against all T8/9 +9-12, because that's how open world pvp works... They can't deal with other +15 people, so they gonna bully undergeared people. What am I complaining? That's totally fair!!! ಠ_ಠ (tbh, that'll be annoying af... js)

Well, I hope you guys put a way of opt out of all pvp, because a lot of people are not interested in PvP and just want to do their events or quests, or just gear up in peace. If you keep nagging those people, they will probably quit and merging 3 "dead" servers to a brand new "FTS" server isn't something you guys want, is it?

Something better: Instead merging 2 PvP and a PvE server into a new server, why don't you just merge both PvP server into another PvP server and Highwatch into a PvE server beside Cellestial Hill (no one likes that server... haha)? This option give you guys a few more work, but this is also a win/win solution: who wants PvP, gets PvP and who wants PvE, gets PvE.

Or maybe just offer a FREE way of moving all characters AND bank (at once, if possible) to another server after the merge. So who is unhappy with PvP server, just move to another PvE server. Not the best solution, but I guess it would work too...

No, the issue is people chose PvE server for a reason. Whatever it may be, they chose to not roll a pvp server, dear god people have different preferences?! holy [filtered], that's so weird right. They chose HW as it's a PvE server and now you're telling them its turning into PvP its like huh? Guess I didn't read the fine print and pooped my server choice. They chose PvE server for a reson being cowards.
And free transfer thing once killed VoT and LoT and will end up ruining this merge.
