Just crafted SF wep and then conflate buff..

So I just crafted my Starfall weapon a few days ago and then all the news about conflate getting buffed came in....So now I'm stuck on what to do...It's my first Starfall piece and it's at +12 and yet to be awakened...I'm planning to craft the rest of my gear conflate now since it's getting buffed, but my question is, should I try and +15 my SF wep and run with SF weapon and conflate gear as a lancer? Or should I just suck it up and craft my conflate weapon as well?

    Ouch, I feel you on that one.... I crafted Conflate boots the second day the gear was released only to have it rendered pretty useless.
    You are going to have to +15 that SF wep if you are going to want to keep up with the Conflate. If it were me, I would go ahead and save up some mats to get your +15 wep and go ahead and get the SF gloves to make a more efficient set.
    Just on a side note tho, I'm running with a couple pcs of SF too, but I have no interest in going any higher than +12 unless I win some crazy jackpot or something. Not the absolute best possible set up, but I'm a casual who does okay, so....

    They're buffing all the newest gear too so that the stats from the conflate buff aren't as crazily lopsided.

    That being said, that doesn't change the fact that SF gear at this point will only see limited longevity as time goes on. For lancer, you won't feel the gear obsoletion as hard as other classes. If you want to future proof yourself, you can also definitely get the conflate chest/boots for the sheer defense boost. For the gloves, it's a toss between SF gloves for 3% dmg or conflate gloves for defense/pvp.

    But the Conflate still stays as a PVP only gear? So the SF gear is still better for PVE?

    Conflate is PvP, next mid tier PvE one is Lilith.

    They only buff the base stats of conflate (rolls and numbers in stat lines remain the same) to make up to the fact that there is no new PvP gear.
