World Boss Achieves- There's A Better Way!
I want to first ask that we keep this an adult conversation, i'm not posting this just so people can flame and troll, i would like to have an actual discussion and hear peoples CONSTRUCTIVE opinions about the topic. Before i go any further let me just say this is not a QQ thread about how hard world boss achieves are.. this is just an idea i had that i think BHS/EME may have overlooked as a viable possibility. I also ask that you please read this post in its entirety before replying. Now lets get to it 
So i have been achieve grinding a lot lately for laurels, and have reached a point on several chars where i need world boss achieves. (and yes i know you can get champ without them/just a few of them but the alternatives i have left are even harder and more time consuming) During my many many hours spent running around looking for these creatures i have found a total of 2.. 2 world bosses in about 2 weeks worth of hunting, and as i run around to all the different spawn locations i cant help but think to myself "how do they expect people to ever get these achieves when they have creatures spawning at unpredictable times (unpredictable to all except whoever killed last, and even then that person only has a rough estimate for the next respawn) and millions of players in game, many many many of which are all hunting for these creatures as well, and we all need up to 100 kills on each of them?"
Obviously i'm not the first person to have this thought.. most people immediately jump to "they need to increase the spawn rate!", and while that would be lovely, it would not really help the issue because then people will just sit on them and farm, still leaving hundreds of thousands of people not seeing the boss for weeks/months/years.. it would also decrease the value of these achievements and pretty much make diamond-champ laurels a cake walk... This is not what i want.. and of course not what BHS/EME wants (remember their goal is to keep us in game as much as possible
) So I spent a lot of time putting myself in the devs shoes and asking myself "what would be a good alternative to the current system? How can they give everyone a fair and equal opportunity to get these boss kills while keeping them just as challenging/time consuming?"
The Concept Summary below is what i came up with, i have no doubt some people will argue about the numbers i came up with, some will say it makes it too easy, others will say its too hard still, but the idea is not to make the achieves easier or faster to grind, it is simply to give everyone an opportunity to get the kills without dedicating a lifetime to checking spawn locations . Either way i think the concept itself is a much better system than what we currently have and i would abosultely love it if we gave this enough attention to have it considered!!
Concept Summary:
World bosses all spawn much more frequently. (every 5mins - 30mins max)
BUT your character receives a 24hr cooldown for killing that boss.
Ideally a "World Boss Menu" would be implemented into game to keep track of which bosses you are on cooldown for, another good feature that could be in this menu would be a map showing spawn locations for each boss, i don't see why they shouldn't just show them to us since everyone just googles the locations anyway.
In conclusion this system would give everyone in game a fair and equal chance to get the kills, it would keep people from sitting and farming, and for the 100kill achieves would still take over 3months even if you worked at it everyday. Lets get EME looking at this so we can get ourselves a better world boss system for the sake of everyone!
