Bring back Mongo hunting exclusively during weekends only!!

Hmm. Do you guys think if we had various different hunting events like this every weekend, then it would be a good idea? For example, the first weekend of the month can have Mongos, the second weekend can have Caimans, third being the blue boxes?

I personally enjoyed blue box events much more.. probably because they were just plain easier to see.

This is just my personal opinion but i prefer the blue boxes event alot more than mongo.
Mongo's were too hard to find in my opinion, i remember when i was waiting in long dungeon wait times i loved to walk around searching for boxes and while i did i always found myself just enjoying how amazing some areas of the game looked.

With the mongo event i barely found any excitement or joy finding one because they are too small to find,i always ended up watching my radar and when i did find one after an long time i just got a very small reward ( of course i realize it's rng)
like somebody posted it is alot more fun to go on treasure hunt and find big blue shiny boxes than an recycled mob.

And to make this is an event that would reappear would be bad in my opinion for the simple reason mongo is to be honest heavily inspired by the pokemon go hype going on and all hypes will die eventually and i believe that the content enmasse made (blue boxes) to be good enough or better than an event based on an ongoing hype.

Tl Dr: After an day of work it's not fun to hunt for small mobs instead of going for an treasure hunt with nice rewards.

Event Was fun,Loot was Very Good , Hope Too see This event coming again Someday but definitely not permanent.
the 2 best events that i want to see come back:Blue boxes,Mongos.

I'm not sure if it's possible, but maybe there could be an effect added to the mongos...like whenever a Diamond dropped from ghillie, DSL, or DSU, it had a ray of light effect on it...maybe future mongos could have that as well, so people aren't only looking at their radar?

I liked the loot also..i joinned mostly the double/triple spawn events only, because the Legendary mongo events actually had bad loots imo lol
I remember one dropped even T7 Feedstock lol
Taking every event, the best stuff i got was like..a Unity Stole, a Noble Moon, a +16 Crit Innerwear, ~20 Dyad structures, 5 or 6 Swift Hardy Niveots (wish i was a PvEer), around 15.000g in Titan's Embers, at least ~400 MWA, ~200 Spellbind, 200 T10 Feedstock.. and..

Yeah i guess i kinda went hard on those spawn events >w>

Myself I like to see some sort of player created content for weekends, more death matches of various kinds, ect ect. That is me though, I get more excited the more the community gets active. We do have the Player Council now which is more than willing to help get these going to. Then leave large EN Masse hosted events like this to be seasonal

Agreed. I would love to see some fun community events hosted in TERA during the weekends time. So to those who don't want to do dungeons or battlegrounds and sit AFK at endgame content having nothing to do, then they'll probably be interested in participating in these various/different type of events being hosted throughout TERA.

Edit: It doesn't have to be Mongos or Blue Box hunting every single weekend. Just anything that's fun and rewarding for players in the community to participate in every weekend.

Was so fun but ,,

- some mongos spawn at hard-to-reach spots ..

I wish I could say I had fun. Because I love these kinds of events. But I ended up missing a lot of the special events because there was no real announcement to them. By the time I found out, they were over. I have limited time, I don't like having to dig through threads to find something. In the future, make a special thread or special announcement. Maybe even on twitter.

Plus the special events ( like triple ) were at such weird times.

I do hope for more events like this, versus that last krya potion shack. That was horrible. I ran so many dungeons and used my daily enteries for most of my toons. Only to end up with 1-3 essences ( usually none - unless I ran hard mode ).

Well... in fairness, it was promoted rather heavily on Twitter -- almost every day there was a new evolution reveal. And it was also on Facebook, the main website, the forum... I guess maybe they didn't do an email campaign this time? I suppose it also didn't take over the welcome message as Kyra's does. But it was pretty well-promoted, I thought.

the loot was fine the problem was the rare mongo shouldn't of been dropping fashion coupon or pots(common stuff) and the common mongo should of been dropping gold inner wear etc(rare stuff) common mongo should be common and drop common stuff rare mongo should be Rare and drop Rare/good items. Most of my good items i got was from common mongo not the rare ones, what makes no sense in having a rarity system to start with.

I think this event was awesome, and I enjoyed the blue box event also, but this I found was a little more challenging. I had to work during the extra spawn times, but I gave this event 10/10! Thanks Eme and Spacecats for making such a great event.

However, I have one complaint.... I am now suffering from extreme mongo withdrawals, I was addicted to those cute little buggers. I felt like they were my friends, even though I did kill them, and now the world of Tera feels overwhelmingly empty without them. I think Eme will have to pay for my Doctor's bills, I now suffer from Mongoitis.

Just making a suggestion, next time you make new pets, perhaps you can make them in the likeness of some smaller mongos. They are so cute, especially the mad scarecrow!

I have had a great time with the event, biggest help would be to make the Mongos on the mini map PURPLE. This means you can turn off material nodes on the minimap and those little mongoats won't trick you!
