About the Castanica Demons Smartbox on the Calendar
So it has been clarified that the smartbox from the Calendar will grant a 7 day version through a global message, however, these smartboxes are tradable, and look identical to the ones that come from the store, which grant a permaneant one. There is no way in determining which Smart box will grant the permaneant one when looking at the trade broker (since the descriptions are identical), and the boxes from the calendar need to be labeled accordingly.

Yeah I had recheck the calendar the box not there. On other hand the other box for this Friday show that its for 3-days.
Yeah, as far as I know, that's always been how it is, but it seems this particular box didn't have that for whatever reason. I don't think they can change the text for items on the fly, so makes sense to withdraw it for now.
Except the damage has been done already and already tons of people have claimed it and selling on the broker. They need to relabel the boxes now, or somehow take those boxes away from the game, or more people will get scammed. Everyone in the future cannot trust buying a Castanica demons box in the future if nothing gets changed, since those boxes will always remain somewhere.
With maintenance they can change the text for all the boxes still out there, but I don't think it's possible to zap the items out of the game magically either without maintenance (plus a fair bit of planning/testing). In the end, you're right that the damage is done, but I'm not sure if there is a "quick fix". It sucks.
This is from the other post about this loot box.
