Leveling too easy?

Hi, I'm a returning player from Tera EU. I stopped playing Tera because I got crossed with the new classes. But it's been a year and I missed the action. I switched to NA because I heard it was friendlier than EU. That, and I saw it on Steam(launching the game through steam is a fickle thing).

Anyways, I've played Tera ever since it came F2P. I'm currently starting fresh to see the new stuff added to the game since. However, I noticed the leveling progress seem to be too easy. I remember having a hard time with Basilisks in Bestial Vale, but now these BAMs are like regular mobs. I know I'm still in the early stages and I'm not a elitist or anything, but I honestly feel like everything is spoonfed. Also, my char levels too fast that the story quest I get is nearly below my level.

    Story quest experience was increased to allow people to level without doing zone quests. Some dungeons had their experience increased along with partying in them giving more experience. There are Avatar weapons, that had been buffed I believe, to make solo leveling easier as well. Tera is more focused around being level 65 anyways.

    Everything up to 65 is extremely easy now because apparently the game now starts at 65, so the rest is pretty much spoon fed and rushed. So just get to 65 as fast as you can OR hang back and read the story along the way. Some episodes are still good. But the real difficulty is found in 4 star dungeons only now. An for some veterans, even those are easy now... Guess not everyone can be pleased. :/

    play dark souls if you want a challenge.or in other words, if ya dont like it, you dont have to play.

    I agree it's quite easy and it looks ridiciulous when mighty dragons and feared giants die after 3 sec combo and most bosses doesn't even have time to start doing mechanics. But it's a bless when it's your 2nd or 3rd character, you already know Tera and you don't want to endlessly grind repetitive quests without reading any text. Also doing solo content as healer was probably hell before avatar and xp boost.
  • And make imperator sets for your alts.
  • Leveling was made easier because the game revolves around level 65 gameplay now instead of 60 and the leveling process was seen as to strenuous for a game that doesn't revolve around leveling anymore
  • Leveling takes maybe 10 hours casually leveling and depending on times you're playing.
    I don't think it has a positive or negative impact on the game as a whole.
    TERA endgame, while sometimes challenging, has basically been a cakewalk.
    If a new HARDMODE dungeon is cleared day one, it is not hard.
