merge ghillieglade and the current solo dungeons ?
i run ghillie and the solo dungeons on multiple chars and it take sup So much time.
they are basically the same thing, why not just put the treasure chest from ghillieglade at the last boss of each solo dungeon ?
drops issue would be "fixed" too.
reasons:
- i think its a great idea, a real time saver as many or most tera players play multiple characters.
- it would streamline playing with the addition of the upcoming solo dungeons
- players wouldn't complain about the lack of drops in solo dungeons

it's a big time saver for a player, not a huge dent to the economy tbh.
What hurts the economy more are those that buy out and monopolize luxuries, mats, etc, that's what kills the economy. The items you get from the GG chest are things you use on a daily base/necessities. More supply doesn't hurt it since people will always be buying them out.
And we could use more ways to even bring Titan Embers back down to it's old prices...Not only that increase ways to get scarabs/dendrites/etc. so that prices are so inflated. Right now etching's main concerns are the scarab supplies (due to more demand than supply) and the titan's ember even with the mongo event helping supply the market a little with it.
Would definitely save use from the Titan's Ember crisis...
I wish I still had that post that basically demonstrated (read proved) how gold farmers in Lineage 2 were the reason why its economy was holding up ... Same would apply to a lot of MMOs; what seems evil may have a good impact.
............................. yea, 4 runs per 15 minutes is tooo long ........................
dont be lazy, you do gg for embers
im agree if the droop get to 1-3 ember per round ( no 3 droops 100%) but, if diferent if you want easy farm for very easy dungeon
it's about making play less boring and getting ready for the new (boring) solo dungeons.
you're doing the same thing just twice. killing one boss in ghillie or running a 3 boss solo run .
just merge the two and move onto new solo dungeons.
why is merging such a bad idea when eme is doing it with 3 servers
I'd be curious to read this too, as I expect it's a very specific situation. If farmers/bots can farm low level materials that require higher level/specialized players to use, then it can help to fuel the economy in some cases. But you don't want to link that to content, because then it devalues the content itself, as the rewards become increasingly useless over time. It means that the casual player, who only has a certain limited amount of time per day, is less rewarded, and you have to farm more and more to stay ahead. This is basically what happened when vanguard gold rewards were doubled in May, as the value of gold dropped precipitously. This same phenomenon has happened a number of times over TERA's history, basically any time there was solo farmable content of this kind, and it always required a market correction. If the game had proper gold sinks, maybe you could avoid all this, but the whole thing requires careful consideration from end to end. You can't just open the spigot and assume everything will work out.
Because merging dungeons is totally the same as merging servers, totally.
the reason is.
oh snap
When ancient wish was 60k, a crafted brooch was 80k. That is, crafting added 20k only. Now that ancient wish is 1k in broker, the crafted brooch is 60k.
Making the mats super easy to get, which makes them super cheap (and that's totally not called destroying the economy either) it's not really the problem. People laziness is.
Every time they give a lot of easy embers (with things like Kyra or bam hunts) those get super cheap and then dendrites (or any part of the gathering process of it) becomes expensive.
You don't need to be a super economist genius to notice it.
its 1k because you can buy it with tokens, not because of any dungeon.
I think you missed their point. Ancient wish accounted for 60,000 out of the 80,000 based on their example. Even though ancient wish devalued in price by 59,000 the cost of the final brooch did not drop accordingly as it only went down 20,000. That means before 1 item accounted for a large majority of the cost, and now all the other materials do instead.
time is money so merging solo dungeons isn't that terrible of an idea.
