Auto attack is the last skill you want to use in any class. While guides describe it better, in a nutshell, archer should flow around rain of arrows, his charging skills (penetrating arrow and radiant arrow), rapid fire, thunderbolt sometimes, and traps glyphed to debuff enemies. Velik's mark and one of the stances (sniper for bosses) are also essential archer skills.

Lol 50% of ninja's rotation is auto attack.

Rules tend to have exceptions, and this one has at least two of them.

not for my cute elin ninja B)

but for my gunner and brawler yes
  • Well I encountered 2 archers during leveling my mystic at catacombs. The party composition is, archer x2, reaper, gunner and mystic. It freak me out to carry them with out tanking class. Most all of them are clueless of their class especially the archers because i don't noticed them spamming RoA. Well...I had to dps then. hehe

Maybe because RoA is unlocked at lvl 58...

thing is you don't need Arrow at all (ie your basic attack) since level 30. You have enough skills for a decent rotation without them.

It is the same reason why people get tilted when newbies use Arrow on archers.

He was talking about catacombs. a level 63 dungeon. Though I may understand that unglyphed RoA is slow as a cow an maybe some will avoid it till they get the glyph.

As for Ninja and auto attack. Ugh. yeah. I forgot that best rotation for them is 3 skills and auto attack..... yeah. That's ninja for you.

you don't RoA if it isn't glyphed yet because it actually reduces dps if you don't glyph it XD.
