AV vs. CH vs. TR
I've decided that my first character will be a priest, and now all I've got left to decide is where to play. I prefer to stick with just a single server.
Ascension Valley, Celestial Hills, and Tempest Reach.
Can someone give me a quick description of the atmosphere/player base on these three servers?
And will it be easy to find a raid/instance group as a priest on these servers? (I'm willing to play as a tank too, if those are more sought after)
Thanks for reading!

TR: Runs most dungeons throughout the day, although top-end ones like SSHM/MM/DFHM usually during peak hours only/mostly. Priest/Mystic doesn't matter, as long as you're a healer and geared. Tanks do seem to be slightly more needed but not much. It's also more heavily populated than AV.
Never played on CH.
PS: excellent priest guide
Why never play in CH? I don't see a problem, so please enlighten me.
Edit: I just woke up and read that as "never play on CH", my bad. Ignore me
if you are not into PVP CH is nice place people are friendly and afk in towns the most and show off those elin armies they so graciously worked hard on and role play. I said role play so many times cuz this server is driving me crazy I want to go to a PVP server.
CH is not a bad server btw its awesome
ch pro erping, every night they do it with logun and try to change him into elin
av may be the biggest pve server in september
Personally I like open world PvP, but ehh.. If that ain't your thing.
I'm from AV as well and I'd have to disagree. There are many people I know that do harder content, usually all from the guilds that are ranked in the crusades. Maybe the reason it seems like the majority isn't interested in running content is that there aren't many LFG's up. When you have a guild, or are friends with other guilds - there is really no need for LFG. Not sure if MM would count as being harder than DFNM, but runs happen all the time, and are also on LFG often. There's even a person who has over 3 million points of accumulated score in MM. Sure, our activity may not be as impressive as TR or MT, but it's still there. If not many people do harder content, then there would not be that many VM7 designs on broker. (And of course people do harder dungeons than MM as well.) Regardless, TR is definitely more populated and would most likely have more people running harder content.
When 30-man comes to mind, however...
LOL poor highwatch

Is it populated? Absolutely. People everywhere.
However, the LFG is absolutely dead unless you're online at certain times, and these certain times are strange to me. Why isn't there at least 1 full page of LFGs at 8pm on a Saturday night? That's absurd for a server with so many endgame players online at the same time.
And FYI, I'm a perfectly rolled +15 priest, it's not that I'm getting rejected for LFGs, it's that there aren't any to apply to. And when you make one, it takes over an hour for a simple DFHM and half the time it's DPS. Since when is there a shortage of DPS?
If you want to relax about PvE go to CH
I love CH, reason I am there but it is not the server where you find the best opportunities to do End Game unless you willing and able to work at it. Meaning you have to reach out to others and not be shy. There are a few good players on the server, several are open to new people but you have to reach out to them and make the effort.
But the PVP is not pretty active, but ppl are really casual, laid back, and pretty helpful if you need some answer or help.
I'm thinking to leave for a PVP server but still, have some good friends and guildmates... And people are really nice, that make me the choice really difficult . ^^
If you want to have some fun with people CH is the server you needed. Otherwise choose TR or AV will be more interesting.
