I'm against adding salt. I don't like salt. Just heal what you can, buff and debuff how you can. Priotize tank first, then whoever of the DPS you see doing a good job. You WILL know when a dps is doing a good job when you see them sticking like glue to the back of the boss constantly attacking with all kinds of skills (aka a rotation) and avoiding damage mechanics and stuff. You priotize that guy over any bad dps. Usually those same bad dps will then start yelling for a res. Res them when you feel both the tank and the good dps can hold their own for 15 seconds.

Drop tons of motes. Anyone that is between you and the tank gets heals, everyone else eats motes or dies. If a dps dies and there is a veritable field of motes....that's not your problem, it's theirs.

Before each fight, tell them politely but firmly to not forget to put your motes in their mouth.

Im a really new healer, for the most part just move ur cursor up and down and from left to right with Heal-lock skill. And leave a healing circle near them. Only focus ur tank for the most part. If they kept running away from u, let them die and ress them later :pleased:

the melee dps is in the middle of no where. keep wandering far away from the boss. :confounded:

Good point Nopi. Well for the dungeon that I comfortable with its mechanics I used to examine the player skill based on the first boss we encounter. If they good enough to stay at the boss rear, it might be good to assume that they know what are they doing in that particular dungeon.

But sometimes I tend to forgot the tank due to the 'bad dps' which is leading to my own destruction for saving their [filtered]. :awesome: :awesome:

Just keep to the tank. Never priotize a dps above the tank, nor go to harm yourself to save a dps. The two most important characters in the party in my opinion are the tank and the healer. In the case all the dps die, the tank can still keep aggro while the healer resurrects the dps.

"Regenerate HP" is a skill that experienced DPS players can perform. This includes picking up motes, running towards the healer, stand in crowds to get an area healing. The real good ones even run to the healer and wait for a heal.

For those running away I take it as a challenge. My main focus still is myself>tank>normal DPS, but this gets boring sometimes. Have you ever tried healing a no-crystal tank? Leashed a DPS out of a lava field? This is where the fun/challenge starts. Of course I'm not disappointed when they die sometimes. But this is a welcomed change.

I hate it when there's a huddle mechanic, like the one in Manglemire, where you have to split a hefty amount of damage, and instead of sitting still for half a second afterwards so I can heal them, they split off in 50 [filtered] directions. Or when I res someone and instead of sitting still so I can heal them or rebuff them, they dash the [filtered] away without buffs or heals and then I'm stuck trying to track them down and sometimes I get killed in the process, or they die because they're running around with no health.

How hard is it to sit the [filtered] still for two goddamned seconds. People say "just let them die" but if you're a priest then ressing and rebuffing people eats up most of your MP so it's very inconvenient when people die often for stupid reasons. Just sit still. And if you're a ranged player, you don't have to be 5m from the boss but don't be on the other goddamned side of the room and then wonder why you're not getting healed, holy [filtered].
