Daily Quest Help?

Hi! I recently became level 65 and I heard one of the good ways to get gold quickly was to do iod dailies but I have no clue where they are/how to get them? I heard it had to do with reputation but I still have no clue what to do to get bigger and better dailies (right now I just have Hands of Velika dailies) :/

These are my reputation points right now:

Thanks in advance :)

Press H. The window opened shows you "Vanguard" quests. Among them, you get to fight BAMs (open world bosses) on the Island of Dawn. This is what people are refering to (e.g. Basilisks, Orisks, Giants). For starters, try to kill the BAMs from the lower part of the list (lvl60 BAms). The BAMs on top of the list are ~67-69.

Keep in mind to get your free fyling mount from Admanjuk Outpost (quest) as well as completing the story quest on Island of Dawn for your free Dreadnaught gear.

All Vanguard quests are convenient accessable by teleport (teleport button on window).

    Edit:
The old faction you listed are not necessary as of now. You might only want to work for the Vanguard faction which is shown on the right upper on the window (press H).
  • Hai Rima :)

There are three tiers of bams and which tier you get, will depend on your item level (ilvl). Item level is determined by your gear. You can see the number on your hp/mp bar or on the middle left of your profile. You can increase your item level by enchanting your gear and obtaining better gear. Weapon and chest armor weigh more heavily towards the overall item level.

When you get your Dreadnaught gear from the quest, make sure to enchant them. The re-rollable lines at +3, +6, and +9, for dps classes, are usually enrage damage, 6% damage, and behind damage. The top line on the weapon is preferably enraged damage. For chest armor, it would be decrease damage by 6%, decrease enrage damage, and decrease frontal damage.

You can use master enigmatic scrolls and identification scrolls to re-roll your equipments. You will notice that some lines are in green text, some are in yellow. The yellow ones increase your ilvl, but it doesn't mean that all the yellow lines are good or preferable.

Make sure you have inner armor and brooch as well. You can get free inner armor by completing the quests that Dougal gives you. It starts with "Raiders Challenge" and you should have automatically gotten the quest. Brooch can be obtained through dungeon drop.
  • Hi,
Apologies in advance for a very noob question, I have only been playing Tera for 2 days, really enjoying it tho, but I have noticed in the Vanguard quests, that once I complete a quest and get the reward. If I go back in (H) it shows the same quest again. is this correct or am I doing something wrong?
    Thanks in advance :)

Some quests may repeat. This happens mostly before level 65. These are dailies anyway so if they repeat and give a reward you want, just do them again. If you don't want that reward, they can be skipped with no repercussions at all. You can do any number of these quests. As many as you want, but after a certain number of quests their rewards will be very small. You can check how many full reward quests you can do in a day by checking the little numbers above the quests in the H menu. You will see a line that reads something like:

Badges X (number), PvE X (number), PvP X (number), Dungeon X (number)

The Badges number is the most important here. If you run out of badges, all vanguards will give reduced reward until the daily resets.
  • Thanks Nopi,

That's great, many many thanks for the cool info. It's a lot clearer now.
I didn't know if I was missing out or throwing the quests out if I didn't do them.

I really appreciate the help. :)
