I have been meaning to level a Castanic Male Warrior, so I have a few questions to ask those knowledgeable...
1) What do you guys think of a Castanic Male Warrior?

2) How does it fare against other races?

3) Where does it stand(placing) in terms of attack animation(speed)?

4) Totally unrelated but what do you think of the name Odious? :open_mouth:

Also, since there are no more sub-forums for class discussions why not make our own here in General Discussion?
Maybe @Spacecats would be as kind as to pin them?

    I meant how fast is the race(Castanic Male Warrior) compared to other races(Elin Warrior), I already know warrior is fast...

    For example
    Elin has the fastest animations, which race comes in second, third, etc?...

    And totally forgot PvP/PvE forums existed, my bad.

    Don't know, I just play whatever race looks good for each class.

    Castanic gets the 1% back crit rate. That's all you need to worry about in this conversation regarding warriors.

    Oh, Elin warriors also look stupid.

    I am a fan of Elin, but I do agree in terms of an Elin warrior. The way they hold their swords look silly to me, which is why I remade my warrior as a Castanic female. B)

    1. I prefer Castanic female, but males aren't too bad imo.
    2. I believe I have heard that Elin and High Elf Males have faster animations. (Not 100%) But imo, I'd just go with whatever race I wanted. That 1% back crit is really nice though.
    3. It's pretty fast-paced.
    4. The name makes me think of odor, but I mean if you like it go with it. B)

    Females are slightly faster but unless you have 20 ping you never notice as well:

    Lore wise Castanic Names follow more of a Roman Style/Latin in which is the origin of that word as well:

    Castanic female has the best animations, my main was an elin warrior for the past year but i recently switched to cast female because those animations are just gorgeous...theres a frontflip in alot of the moves, such as pounce and rain of blows, that just make it more fun to play xD
    I think castanic femalse have the fastest animations after elins, but as previously mentioned, the 1% back crit rate boost is the deal breaker for castanics.

    Castanic's dirty fighting passive is +1% crit chance when atking from behind. so it is essentially 1/3 a carving crystal. plus believe it or not skirmish running has actually saved my butt a few times. skirmish running is an active skill that increases in combat movement speed. and castanic males are awesome and sexy, castanic females are also awesome and sexy. either one, castanics are the strongest mix of epic and sexy in the game, as well as having combat oriented passives. but race differences are so marginal anyway, i would say just play whatever you like best. i personally main castanic male warrior

    and Ps. castanic's 1/2 fall damage is pretty awesome in certain situations as well.

    I still stick to my elin warrior even if she can barely hold her swords. Something about being short and zipping around evading back and forth while poking mobs in le behind. I would have chosen popori everything but I don't like being fat in a game when I'm already kinda fat irl... >.<

    1) Castanics are a skilled, talented and edgy people to me, so close ranged dps suits them just perfectly. Specially warrior and slayer.
    2) Before being a Castanic Female, my warrior was a popori. It's really nice tank as a warrior popori. Your are just a furry ball rolling and jumping holding two swords shaking yourself at block. It's funny. Just changed because castanic female was the only race and gender that i didn't have in chars. Not disapointed, either. She's pretty smooth.
    3) I guess i have an impression of a speedy char with castanic female, just because it's smooth she looks really self confident not like the shaking popori. Also because i changed recently it's new and i'm excited about her...
    4) That's hedious. Got it? Hedious Odious... LOL Jk. Dunno man, suit yourself about the names. I named my chars with djs names and snacks brands. I guess i can't help you properly. =| lol

    I roll a a High Elf Female as a main, but I find my Castanic Female alt is really easy to settle into because she has a really nice rhythm to her skils. From the skill sounds in game, I think that Castanic Males do have this as well

    2) Castanics gain an extra 5 - 6 crit factor from the passive when attacking from the back. It can be an advantage if you want to stay as close as you can to getting 100% Scythe crits, as you can roll just that tiny bit more power.

    3) Castanic Females and Elin animations overall work out to be about the same. Elins have faster/further reaching animations on some skills. castanics on others.

    And Warriors are have some of the highest attack speed in the game. Death from Above and Evasive Roll Glyphs make it even faster (as an aside, I've actually found this a problem in DFHM Verno because it makes my iframes too short).

    Race doesnt matter anymore, pick whatever you like.

    Going to change my elin warrior to a castanic male or high elf female, since i hate the way they hold their swords :/
