    im have same problem like a 4 months ago

    you can see the tread in old forums ( im send tikect too )

    im only know is problem with server conection ( im restore "clean" system image with Sysmantec recovery disk 2013 and no work )

    by the way, the problem is when server come up and the game cant conected with them ( i mean, if you login in server, the black screen is "character selection" in the server, if you enter in game when server are down for mantenace, you can see the server selection screen instead "character selection"

    in my case this fixed when "ninja" pach come xD
