[KTERA] 8/11 Patch Notes
Link to the full document below.
I expected a lot for Berserker buff but lol....
Sorcerer got some adjustments
Slayer Buffs are not included, but they are noted as Soon™.
Rakelith HM is released
Lilith NM is nerfed
Lilith HM had few fixes
Akasha's Hideout (not Ace Dungeon) nerfed
Adjustments to Equalized gear on Battleground
Lilith, Imperator, and VM8 buff
Rakelith Treasure Box (Imperator's Treasure equivalent) loot table adjustments.
....and other some minor fixes and adjustments.

Update:
3 more bug fixes:
1. Fixed an issue where Rakelith’s curse was applied on summoned entities. (added)
2. Fixed an issue where Burning Heart could be used after using a different skill without putting it on cooldown. (this was apparently broken glitch. look at the gif posted in the bottom of the document.)
3. Fixed an issue where a certain status (specifically debuff according to players) was applied while casting Warp Barrier (apparently Warp barrier failed to nullify debuffs when the effect was active)
Update 2:
Someone did the testing for Zerk's damage buff and I think it's safer to assume it's about 10% buff at most.

Hm, just a straight up damage boost for the two classes. That's a bit underwhelming.
For Slayers, the UOHS being affected by Chest line/powerlinks/noct buff looks delicious though.
Is there any word as to when NA TERA will be getting the sorc changes?
They even made false promises, saying Slayer will get buffed with Berserker in Early August. But probably they ran into some kind of issues or something. Then again, Soon™ must be BHS trademark.
On a real note, I really really hope that there's a lot more to it. I know it says the 25th for the rest but they're kinda scaring me a bit.
The changes wont be mentioned till after Slayer changes I'm assuming, cause slayer got the same buff as us and Loriri also mentions that slayer revamp will be shown on august 25th .
The changes for Slayer is already on it, but I can't promise that there might be additional changes. This is pretty depressing as those two are my favorite DPS classes, but I really hope they have something else up on their sleeves. They basically promised that they wanted to finish most class balancing before the 30 man Raid is released (which is said to be on late August btw) to the point that all DPS classes would pull off similar DPS as Ninjas.
Since we're on the topic, many people have misconception about Brawler's DPS being adjusted to about 70% DPS output of DPS classes. This isn't a nerf. The GM note specifically said that they wanted to "Adjust Brawler's DPS through BUFFS so that it will have about 70% of a DPS class' performance". On a second note, most of the changes are made based on community, where the majority are Average players (not top players as they hardly use community sites).
So basically,
1. All DPS class' performance will be equalized, including Reapers and Gunners.
2. Brawler will be buffed to match 70% of DPS class' performance.
3. Lancer will gain more utility/ party support.
4. Soon™ on September, Archer's Velik's Mark will not be shared.
5. Soon™ on October/November, Warrior will no longer share edge, and Tanking in D-stance will be improved (not sure if adjustment or revamp since this patch note lost my trust on the certain word they used)
6. Soon™ after all balance adjustments are finished, they will work on improving Talent System.
As some may be aware through the Player Conference on March, these "Average players" are mostly clueless or does not have enough in-depth knowledge about the game. While translating that long list of Q&A, I felt like discarding the whole thing because it was just depressing how most of them were complete rants, complaints, and whining like babies rather than a suggestion about how to improve the game. I'm not going to say I'm knowledgeable about the game as I'm casual player, but some of the questions were pretty low quality seeing how reapers lacked iframe or what not. Few points among them though, I can agree to an extent that classes such as Zerks may need mobility in early stages (Overwhelm can only be learned at lv 65, so moving it to lower level makes sense somewhat as it will improve their QoL i guess) but some aren't really necessary (such as giving Zerks more iframe, which I can understand yet I don't think it's really needed.) simply because "it's too hard for me specificly to play this class so it should be dumbed down so that I can play it better and feel good about it". In reality, they still are pretty trash (most of the time).
The more I read stuff on Inven or the official KTERA forum, the more I feel ashamed. It's literally embarrassing how all these people want the game to be easier and easier for themselves.
I really hope there will be more then this.
Yes, I hope whatever they promised as a "revamp" is more than what they just gave us in this patch.
I forgot to mention in earlier post: I want to thank everyone again for reading my translation and the support. What I really like about translating and sharing is that we can make an open discussion and get ourselves together in sharing opinions about them. Although our voices may not reach BHS directly like KTERA (because BHS claims that the devs actually do browse KTERA related online community contents as KTERA is pretty much BETA server for other regions), hopefully we can have a chance to voice our opinions as well eventually.
I've been looking on the forums, so here's what I'm seeing so far:
Slayer and Berserker forums exploded with classic KTERA RIP meme signs:
▶◀ and ●▅▇█▇▆▅▄▄▇
They are complaining that the patch notes are not providing exact values and cannot trust any changes BHS has made due to their past mistakes. So basically, KTERA players are the one literally solving out what has been fixed and what hasn't fixed instead of the developers telling them what's exactly in the patch-- as you can see on the patch note already, there are quite a bit of vague "adjustments"-- basically, they are demanding a more detailed and complete patch notes.
At the moment, Berserkers are claiming two things:
1. They cannot feel the difference before and after patch (taking the 5% weapon base attack buff in consideration)
2. They can feel slight difference at about 5% ~ 10% (on top of 5% weapon base attack buff, so about 10% ~ 15% total)
I'm not sure if they're even actually analyzing and/or calculating these so-called "tests" they're doing correctly, but I'd say that there is some increase and it seems to be safer to say that it's just about having damage increased from Noctenium.
I'm officially scared of what the changes to zerk might be now ... I agree with you on giving zerks more mobility at earlier levels.
Other than that, i dont think zerks need to be easier to play at all... Lol...
