New Swimwear "Bigger is Better...Apparently."
It may not come as a shock to those not new to TERA that after the Pirate costume designs, other cosmetic items introduced have slowly been removing certain features from the races of TERA that make them unique.
Amani feet have been removed/ seemingly crammed into shoes for both women and men, which MAY make the designing process quick and easy to produce, sure-- but causes the walking/running animation/ general proportions of this race to look distorted.*
The Aman are not the only ones to suffer the change in quality of costume/cosmetic design. To name another, Castanic, have also had their arcane scars removed on several occasions and replaced with smooth skin. (Which sort of puts the whole race being cursed with scars more equal to a race that once got a rub on tattoo with a stick of gum.)
So supple skin and small feet is what's in-- and apparently that is not all. The latest swimwear (Not Elin) come with a not so subtle message of bigger is better…
The new swimwear causes female models to boast [filtered] that are larger by default and in the case of the Amani females, the skin appears smoother and shinier, setting it apart from the rest of the skin texture.
So, what gives? Are we to expect more short cuts when it comes to costume design? Will Castanic and Amani risk losing their racial distinctiveness with each new costume or maybe even on a permanent basis ? What's the point of having chest changers as an item?
Don't get me wrong I enjoy all the races of TERA, but that does not mean I want to see them congeal into the same design, of course I speak only for myself.
Food for thought...
*Note the female costume for all races that sport flat footwear (Sweet Beats) used for races that usually have arched feet, also look strange when running or standing still. Good thing we have the Dressing Room, because these new costumes are definitely worth a TRY before you buy.

On the other hand, it appears that the Shape Changer: Chest does not work with the new Swimsuits. I only checked Elin and Castanic. On Castanic it does work, they do not work on Elins however.

True, but if we want to talk about getting the short end of the stick of this game, I think males need their own section of the forums.
those are just a few examples. there are also plenty of examples where we don't lose our scars.
Male characters need a little love too, though.
*Note the scars are being removed from the legs more often and sometimes they just remove them entirely--example Police 'uniforms'.
