  • I'm with you Xaera. These last couple of dungeons have probably only 2-3 moves per boss that are actually blockable which is ridiculous. Other than that, the only other things I think Zerks need are higher innate crit, lower cd on flurry, and less animation lock on the end of skills. I'm getting really sick of them just adding damage because that is NOT what Zerks need. Their actual damage has always been fine, it's just their ability to get attacks in that is the problem. Since charging already puts them at a disadvantage for this, and archers don't need to worry since they can stand so far away.

    to be completely honest, I feel the same way at certain times. Too many one-shot mechanics lately.

    It used to be that blocking and iframing were just two different ways of protecting yourself. Some classes iframed, some classes blocked. So forcing iframing mechanics on classes that weren't built to iframe things wasn't the best idea. And slapping a basic iframe on us only does so much to help.

    I don't know about anyone else, but one reason I picked zerker was the ability to block. I practiced timing them right etc. and now it's largely useless (plus blocking could be used to increase our power and regen our mana). I'm glad I'm not the only one who misses blocking. ._.

    I'd also really love that perfect block mechanic that brawlers have. I really do think it'd take three things to get zerkers on the same level as other classes.
    -Let us block more things
    -Let us know in game what we can and can't block with some sort of variation in color or something
    -Let us block perfectly.
    That would let zerkers actually get in attacks instead of spending so much time on staying alive. And then good damage can be done.
    And it's not really even a revamp. It's just letting zerkers do what they were designed to do in the first place!

    And the general consensus is that Zerker can still be played well, it's just one of the hardest classes to do so. Two players of same gear and skill, one on a new class, one on a zerker, and the zerker will easily be outclassed, I think. Just increasing our damage a little won't fix that aspect.

    Sure, they could just make zerkers more mobile instead, but that'd decrease what makes the class unique, and at that point, we might as well be slayers (exaggeration).

    Letting zerkers have perfect block like a brawler wont make sense at all in a dps viewpoint. If you have the option to as a zerk, you will always walk out of the way of the enemy's attack to charge up your next skill. Letting us block more things im down for, but it will just make dungeons too easy again on zerker.

    All i want from a zerker buff is true crit glyphs, but i will admit even that is overbuffing zerkers if we're to have 100% crit rate on TS Cyclone and Esmash

    Yes, I don't think the people asking for "more crit" understand the implications of what they're suggesting. It would essentially make the class scale less well (or even capped) with additional crit from gear, which usually exists in a favorable ratio when compared to power.
