to be completely honest, I feel the same way at certain times. Too many one-shot mechanics lately.
I don't know about anyone else, but one reason I picked zerker was the ability to block. I practiced timing them right etc. and now it's largely useless (plus blocking could be used to increase our power and regen our mana). I'm glad I'm not the only one who misses blocking. ._.
I'd also really love that perfect block mechanic that brawlers have. I really do think it'd take three things to get zerkers on the same level as other classes.
-Let us block more things
-Let us know in game what we can and can't block with some sort of variation in color or something
-Let us block perfectly.
That would let zerkers actually get in attacks instead of spending so much time on staying alive. And then good damage can be done.
And it's not really even a revamp. It's just letting zerkers do what they were designed to do in the first place!
And the general consensus is that Zerker can still be played well, it's just one of the hardest classes to do so. Two players of same gear and skill, one on a new class, one on a zerker, and the zerker will easily be outclassed, I think. Just increasing our damage a little won't fix that aspect.
Sure, they could just make zerkers more mobile instead, but that'd decrease what makes the class unique, and at that point, we might as well be slayers (exaggeration).
All i want from a zerker buff is true crit glyphs, but i will admit even that is overbuffing zerkers if we're to have 100% crit rate on TS Cyclone and Esmash
Difference between a warrior's scythe and a zerker's thunderstrike is the fact that we have a 4s cd and dont need to build up any edge to use it. If we were to be spamming our 7-10m TS every 5 seconds it would be too broken
Base damage can always be adjusted to make up for reliability.
Slayer HT on high ping players.
