Blame BHS. Because the players at KTERA suck at Reaper. So the community there complains how underpowered the class is because they don't use it to the full potential at NA/EU does. So they be like "please give reapers more buff it's underpowered not enough utility" so BHS caters them with buffs.
Or maybe the rest of the korean PvPers are better in general/better at dealing with reaper than NA. It would definitely be a reversal of the norm for the koreans to be worse at a game, especially in a game they got first.
Btw. Anyway the game should be adjusted to western standards - and this means ~100 ping standard and ~200 is not rare..
In korea they also have great PCs which means higher fps and less grey blobs, and reapers and gunners benefit the most from grey blob pvp.
I'd definitely be surprised to see if people werent even running enough as for whipsaw to cable to work. You only need like +40.
Ping matters for PvP. Whether you like it or not lol.
Anything below 30 ping is insane. If you duel players with 10-20 ping you'll lose the duel if you have over 100.
I'd say he's one of the best Warriors on MT second with Rukojima now known as Ezra I believe. There's a few other good Warriors too can't remember their IGNs and yeah Numbnips is really good too the best Reaper in MT.
Yosha made once a test on reaper rotation between KTera and NA. KTera had 200+ms, NA had I believe 50ms. NA rotation was around 22% faster. Which means, in PVE= more DPS. in PVP=Massive advantage.
Also, whoever plays charging classes, like Archer and Zerker, with high ping, knows that in duels, 3s, and basically any small scale pvp its pretty much GG. In mass PvP, like GvG, CS,FWC its a lot more forgiving.
Tbh every class can do much more with a decent ping..not just the "delicate but strong"
Zerk as main example i can give, try to play it with more than ~140 ping and you cant do any kind of stagger -> KD without Flurry (besides Pun. Strike -> Flatten)
Even Gunner have some problems with high ping (no, not Burst Fire), tho some ppl say its the best class for high ping.
Ninja with high ping is actually viable, they can still do the 100 -> 0 combo but no time for Leaves on the Wind. Was one of the easiest classes for me to deal with my ping.
Being honest, the main problems that comes from high ping are that you cant combo that well, but you can kill ppl without real combos if you know what youre doing. The thing that not many can see but that is the main thing that makes ping important to me is the fact that with high ping you get delay trying to react to anything + you cant escape any kind of stagger lock unless its done really wrong.
