sf vs conflate atm and imperator vs conflate weapon after vm8

What about Lilith weapon? Buffed Lilith has the same attack modifier as Conflate and will be much easier to obtain. So we're looking at 30 PVP attack vs 20% PVP damage for dps and 30 PVP attack vs 6% PVP damage for tanks.

So wait, if you're only looking at PvP after the patch, then conflate will be better than sf.

What about PvE? Would conflate still be better because of the higher base damage, or sf because of the extra rolls? Would it be better for someone who does a bit of both (me) to just go for sf so they can do both PvP and PvE?

Most of conflates stats are pvp specific, so it's really not great for pve. The new mid tier coming, Lilith, will be much better for pve and ofc needs no awakening.

If I was a tank, I'd definitely take Lilith weapon over Conflate. It's actually not bad.

Or you could go for VM7/8.

The tank stats on Conflate are pretty derpy. I think the one who designed the Conflate weapon for tanks went to go design it, but then he got high...

As it stands, if you're a tank or dps. Vm8 orb7 will do a better job weapon wise.

@Felhammer Then what about the other pieces? Weapon is VM as always but what about the armor? Should a tank/DPS go full Conflate, full VM8, or a mix of Conflate, Vm7 and VM8? I have been looking at the base stats of all the gear but I haven't find an answer

To answer your question you can do one of two things.

Go Conflate Gloves/Boots/Armor Vm7/8 Belt Weapon

OR

Go full Visionmaker 7/8 It's entirely about what resouces you have to spend. The only big difference I can honestly feel will be the differences between Vm8 and Conflate.

Between Vm7 and Conflate though it'll be more about skill than gear. As for tanks you really will need the Vm weapon because Bluehole figured tanks don't need dmg stats on Conflate weapons. GG

@Felhammer Aren't the VM boots better because Conflate lacks the Reduce crit line? Also my Awakened +12 SF chests piece is more tanky than Conflate and sometimes +15 Imperator/SF but that's maybe because I run an Endurance/Power build on my gunner who knows. Anyway thank you for answering!!

still I feel the extra line in the VM chest piece is a must have for me but I'll wait and see for now I'll just farm stoffs to be ready when the patch hits then I can use my guildies as test subjects lol

Your awakened SF won't mean anything after Conflate gets it's super buff. Have fun though.

I cri ;_; I know lol I'm goin to farm mats and gold to be able to either buy or craft my gear. I read somewhere that the new GvG gives VM7 BoE as a reward not sure if we are goin to get that as a reward here doe but that is an option also I'll bet that after the new gear is released VM7 will be ez af to get like SF is atm and Conflate is also ez af to get so w/e I decide to go for either VM7/8 or Conflate I have time since that will come out Soon(TM) I am more interested in info rather than anything else
