How will bank and character slots be handled with the server merger?

So...servers are moving. I have some gripes about some parts of it, but lets not talk about those. An important question, several users, myself included, have in in regards to how slots, both character and bank, will be handled. I have 13 characters and 14 slots on HW and and all four of my bank tabs are full. The banks of the other servers are empty for me, though I imagine this is not the case for many since HW is a PvE and the others are PvP. For me, I care more about the character slots. Merging the servers will result in me having more than 16 characters on the new server. Granted, I don't care an awfully lot about the PvP server ones, but many would, and I do too to a degree.

    They've already said that you can keep all of your characters, you just can't make more until your character count is reduced to your slot amount.
    This also means that players who have 16 characters on all 3 servers will have 48 characters on the merged server, but will not be able to make more characters until they are back down to 15 characters (to have 1 available slot). So, in theory, they would have to delete or transfer 33 characters.

    In regards to bank slots, I do not know how they will be merged HOWEVER I do know how the guild bank conflicts will be handled.

    Basically everything in your banks is moved to a temporary bank that can only be withdrawn from and not deposited into. This temporary bank is available on the new server until you withdraw everything from it and put it into the new server's bank.

    I do not know how many bank slots we will have on the new server/if it will take the server with the most slots or not etc.
