Was the ninja class inspired by Naruto?
Substitution logs? Multi-clone jutsu? I mean come on, where have we seen that before.

Just because Naruto is one of the most mainstreamed (or commonly known) show with fictional Ninja themed fantasy work, it does not mean everything have to be based off of it.
Substitution logs are hardly from Naruto, they didn't invent them. They might have got ideas from Naruto for the ninja class but just saying.
but the chi seem to come from dragon ball
If the Tera ninja were to be based on the Naruto series, I'd expect at least one typical special move like a sand gourd, a blooming lotus move or a puppet technique. The Tera ninja still is more a melee, despite the weird Naruto-running animation and oversized Naruto-shuriken.
Yes EVERYTHING is inspired by Naruto, even Naruto! ¬.¬
~chi = 氣 = chi kung/chi gung/qigong/qi gong = 氣功
Maybe once you understand other country history you would know where they came form.
Ninja just go check Japan history
Chi go check Chinese martial arts
Tera ninjas have neither of them, they are still based on mana and hitpoints. If you wanted to translate the Ki into Tera, you should add something like edges of the warrior as the Ki influence gets stronger the more you know your enemy (e.g. atemi (attack) techniques applied to designated spots). Also the Naruto techniques inflict self-harm which comes close to berserkers, but the Tera ninja does not have this either. The Naruto techniques also have the Kuji-In (finger symbols, based on mantra), which result in a strong attack. All Tera ninja attacks are instant and not like the sorcerers' fireblast. (not gonna continue at this point)
Hello TeraMon Go?
Too bad Naruto stopped being cool after like episode 150...
naruto stopped being cool after naruto vs pain and after kishi jump too much the shark
