Was the ninja class inspired by Naruto?

Substitution logs? Multi-clone jutsu? I mean come on, where have we seen that before.

No. While it may seem so, the skill names sound nothing like Naruto in KTERA's original text.

Just because Naruto is one of the most mainstreamed (or commonly known) show with fictional Ninja themed fantasy work, it does not mean everything have to be based off of it.

Substitution logs are hardly from Naruto, they didn't invent them. They might have got ideas from Naruto for the ninja class but just saying.

naruto is one of inspiration, clone jutsu, the weapon, hands movements, log teleportation, chakra, when the ninja run, burning heart seem to be inspired by sasuke fireball

but the chi seem to come from dragon ball

I dont think so. As far as I know the Naruto series, they put a "-jutsu" to every skill they have. They base their powers on a chakra concept and most of the characters have magical powers that barely resembles melee combat.

If the Tera ninja were to be based on the Naruto series, I'd expect at least one typical special move like a sand gourd, a blooming lotus move or a puppet technique. The Tera ninja still is more a melee, despite the weird Naruto-running animation and oversized Naruto-shuriken.

    ~jutsu = 術 = spell
    ~chi = 氣 = chi kung/chi gung/qigong/qi gong = 氣功

Maybe once you understand other country history you would know where they came form.
Ninja just go check Japan history
Chi go check Chinese martial arts

Not sure if we want to go in an all out discussion about martial arts. But the concept of Chi (or Ki, japanese) does really exist and is roughly a mixture of experience, intuition and focus. The concept of chakra also does exist, but is not applied in martial arts.

Tera ninjas have neither of them, they are still based on mana and hitpoints. If you wanted to translate the Ki into Tera, you should add something like edges of the warrior as the Ki influence gets stronger the more you know your enemy (e.g. atemi (attack) techniques applied to designated spots). Also the Naruto techniques inflict self-harm which comes close to berserkers, but the Tera ninja does not have this either. The Naruto techniques also have the Kuji-In (finger symbols, based on mantra), which result in a strong attack. All Tera ninja attacks are instant and not like the sorcerers' fireblast. (not gonna continue at this point)
  • The class was inspired by mild autizm and lack of creativity, devs were hoping that naruto fanbois will start crawling into this game but 99% of them have no idea it even exists.

    I'd BELIEVE IT.

The class could have a bunch of naruto influences. That'd be just my opinion, but comeon, most kids in modern times know of the term 'ninja' from naruto. Even though most everything from that show comes from other past references, most, if not all of them coming from either folklore, legends passed down, and 99% exaggerations of the abilities of actual ninja. But, who wouldn't want to cash in on the popularity of something else?

    Hello TeraMon Go?

It's totally copying Naruto. Isn't it blatantly obvious?

Too bad Naruto stopped being cool after like episode 150...
