Free Look Camera

I know it's primarily an aesthetics thing, but will we ever get some kind of Free Look Camera option? Sometimes you just like to look around while strolling through the city, or riding over the landscape. But instead, for some reason, we can't do that. We can while riding a Pegasus between towns. What can be so hard about adding a simple toggle to allow one to look around in the same manner without affecting the direction of the character?

Closest thing to that that I can think of is shift + left clicking a target. But yeah, I wish we had that too.

There's also a first person camera. Press ctrl+z twice. Once to remove UI, again to go first person. A third time to return UI and back to third person.
  • When I wanna look around like that, I just turn the camera and run in a different direction with WASD. Like if I want to look behind my back, I turn the cam and keep running backwards with S. By now it's sort of second nature for me to look around this way :) Of course this is not as smooth as being able to just look around, but it's the best solution I can think of as long as it's not implemented in the game.

I've done it like this since forever too. Be it for just exploring/quests or in dungeons/battlegrounds.

Would LOVE a Fly Cam in TERA, it is more of a thing for those that like to take Screen Shots as well as make little Fan Base Vids. Though I can see its uses in streaming as well, allowing the broadcaster to catch certain angles, but yea dreaming :)

Fly cam. All I see is the net inundated with even more and closer shots of elin pantsu. Sue me, I always think the bad things first. >.<

I think there are worse things than short, skinny, cute girls in tight shorts. :P
