Too much lost for so little gain
I think gunners should get a change like that too, since they're ranged but still wearing plate, and they already have too much good stuff going for them. Honestly, if you're spending most of the attacking from a distance, then if you get hit you really should be punished for it. But to apply the same thing to zerks is just odd, especially since it's not being applied to lancers, who are another metal class that attacks within melee range.
Regarding block for zerk, I agree that it's great -- until you get to stuff that actually hurts. Then your 38k block doesn't really cut it anymore. I'm not even saying I want to facetank or whatever, I just never felt tanky to begin with on my zerk and this is basically like a kick in the [filtered] for no reason. I hope it's not a huge difference. If I wanted to play a glass cannon I'd have made a sorc or something.
That's how I felt as well. But [filtered], man. It's so smooth. Like, holy [filtered]. It feels like I'm playing with 10 ping or something.
Lancers already take more damage than other plate classes in PvE. I believe they're only one of two classes that take 100% damage from bosses.
Ah, then that explains that.
Just curious, what is the other class?
Depends on what you give up for aspd.
If you run a VM weapon, the extra lines give you space to run aspd if you give up crit rate and go double enrage, back, 6% and aspd.
If you're running other gear with 3 rollable lines, then running aspd might not seem like a good idea. Aspd and cdr are very ping dependent so you can use that as a factor to consider as well as how well you play a zerker.
I sometimes wonder if the devs over in Korea even play the game.
Probably warrior or brawler
And you have a block that doesnt consume nothing to use. Stop crying. --
Doesn't evasive roll share a cooldown with evasive smash? I don't know about zerker builds, but I thought evasive smash increased DPS. And as other people have said, the block doesn't work for everything (and it absorbs less, for a good reason I suppose).
They gonna increase the absortion in a future patch and the roll has low cd compared to evasive smash.
Though with these damage taken changes, I wonder just how much the percentage is.
