Locked strongbox oddities.

So tonight my friend and I decided to blow a little cash on strongbox keys in the brokerage. I had a bunch of basic Locked Strongboxes in storage so I opened some and got a Tawney Huntress and a Rainbow (WOO HOO! FINALLY!!!!). My friend, however, who has as bad luck with the RNG used 2 keys and got FIVE EX-TRM mounts. What the hell?

    I call bs.. :) a trade means nothing because he could have just bought them and then show them in the trade.

    I know this guy in real life. And neither one of us could have EVER been able to afford 5 of those.

    The only mount u able to get is Rainbow in strongboxes. so yeah

    You can't get Tawny Huntress from locked strongboxes as far as I know. And you also can't get 5 mounts from 2 keys.

    could be that maybe strongbox weekend is coming soon and they want to troll us out so we waste all of our keys on bad rewards, i mean lets face it 90% of tera's community are trolls...so save up your keys for 1k or 2k mwa or premium jackpots, forget what this girl wrote

    If you want to make up stories you might want to do your research, just the 5 EX-TRM would've been a har har knee-jerker but saying you got a Tawny Huntress out of a strongbox just debunked your story from the very start.

    Actually, I got two in two days. I usually get two things from boxes. Jack and s**t.

    Is there a way for a GM to check records of what comes from boxes? If so I'd be willing to give them my characters and friends characters names.

    Don't think you can get 5 mount in 2 locked strongbox i can see if they open more then 2 just not possible to get 5 out of 2 box.

    Not to hijack the topic, but had a question. Which strongboxes have a chance to give you mounts/unique items? Any ones in particular? Have 20 keys or so just sitting in the bank.

    Locked Strongbox has a small chance to give a rainbow mount. The rest don't drop anything special unless there's an event going on.

    Now that I've opened all the boxes I want, I wanna sell the rest for way too high prices.
    Can confirm this is true. It drops tawny huntress, ex-trm and rainbow. Including stacks of them.

    Possibility 1:
    EME made a really bad mistake and put the Mounts in stacks (!) into strongboxes. Keep in mind that not only the employee at EME responsible for the droplist does this, it also goes through the Hands of the monetarization specialist who has to confirm that a cash shop item goes into F2P. Also the code for an item that has rarity Status (Huntress) is set into a droplist. This also Needs confirmation from other sides as you dont just throw them around randomly - rare. Plus EME totally forgot to make this breaking Event public.

    Possibility 2:
    You both bought too much keys and are now selling them on trade Broker. This Little thread could possible boost your sales.
