Bluehole may only be manly paying attention to it's Korean players. If we had someone who knew fluent korean and could talk to the players for us. Maybe make a petition and have it translated into korean to send to the both Bluehole and Kr Nexon. It may help.

I only make male characters to stare at them or make all pink male elves with bare torso robes.
Although i would love a popo druid or some sort.

My personal taste is of the following for males-
Castanic males would have a "debuff" based class (bleed effect, anyone?) with semi ranged DPS. Would revolve around their Deva ancestry and blood magic.
Barakas technically have no [filtered]....Being rock people.. But I would love to see another focused healer based on ancient runes and symbols.
Poporis would have the gift of nature, working as a Tank/secondary DPS. Trees/rocks/etc. Nature aiding them in protecting their allies.
High Elf men would have a summoning class, but without heals for their team.
Aman males would have another burst DPS, as they take heavy pride in their metal works.
Human males would have a strict Tank.

Course, I would simply pay for new features.. Especially for Castanic men. More scars and less make up on faces, new horns to resemble Devas, and ACTUAL BUTTS/FEET FOR MEN.

Well, when we become the target demographic, and not teenage, repressed Korean boys avoiding their education mamas, then they might humor us. I spent three years in Korea (on the government's dime, yay military service!). They pander to the original demographic and if it sells there, then that's all they care about.

I personally feel like the classes should not be gender locked, and I think they are doing it because [filtered] sells and who doesn't like a sexy girl wrecking BAMs, however I would enjoy playing the new classes without having to play a female avatar. I don't think its fair, there should be a way for us to tell someone. Somebody has to know how to get the word out.

I came here to say this...I play this game infrequently, and have been pissed off each time to see these gender locked classes. Not getting my cash or my time, until you throw us dudes a bone. BOTH SEXES for a class, Or how about just a male class? Ridiculous. So sick of your hypersexualized weeaboo circlejerk game design.

i want to play a character that is male because do not identify with the female characters , i do not feel threatened i do not feel emasculated,i think it is strange that so many people are hostile towards those of us that want a male gunner or male brawler,the only way to get change is to express ones feelings, and you can not use in game anecdotal evidence because yes there are more woman running around because thats all there is to play, oyu have no real choice, i have a character for all the male classes, i tried to play hte gunner and the brawler but i just could not invest any interest into playing them because i just didn't feel like they represented me in any way

I like to read forums that say things like this. While I totally agree with the ability to roll male on your class, the fact is that they're not going to do that. People have made references to the interviews between EME and BHS, I'd like to make one more. In the most recent interview posted on EME's Tera site, BHS was asked if another class was coming, seeing as we've gotten all these new ones lately. The response was "There are plans for another class" but followed up with the only details being "Not a healer" and "Female" (again)
Personally, I can pretend my character is male, and can dress them up with male looking gear. But I can see why that's difficult and some would argue "unneccesary" but when life gives you lemons.. Make a freaking cake cause lemon cake is better than some drink that you can tell didn't have much effort put in.

They need to make Baraka or a male OP like elins. If that doesn't interest people on playing the race then I can conclude the Koreans are messed up.

There should be a male and female class for everything in this game, that's all there is to it. I'm not interested in jumping onto the gender-locking band wagon and crying for male only characters now. I stopped playing this game over a year ago and they wont get a thing from me til this has been rectified.
