Not wanting to step on toes here, but I think you may want to go back and read through both our server Merge 2016 FAQ ( http://support.enmasse.com/tera/server-merge-2016 ) and through the recent Producer Letter for Autumn 2016 ( http://tera.enmasse.com/news/posts/producer-letter-for-autumn-2016 ) , since there is quite a bit of misleading information stated in your original post. - Cobalt

And for me promiss of free transfer ur characters was a damn blessing but now i read more about it and in the end is one big crap. So ty En masse again for not listen to ur customers and player for couse us even more trouble. Soon u will hav same faith as china Tera becouse pees hav enough of this many will leav very soon, so ty for not listen and making more issues then helping. Ty for ruin this awesom game.

    That's an awful lot of rage. If you've been reading the announcements you would see that you won't be forced into PvP for something like 99% of everything you may do, and they will be giving four character slot expansions. Does this completely cover our losses? For most, probably and then some. My biggest complaint is that I can't free transfer TO the new server, nor from the new server and to some other PvE server (I'd rather transfer to CH then AV, or from CH to FF).

    The only thing that I can think of that would effect me would be if there were large groups of players camping by a flight pad that happen to be outside of town.

    You can transfer as many characters as you want for free, as long as it's from FF to AV during the free-transfer period. Though, yes, you do need character slots, though you will get four free slots when you enter on FF. So you could presumably use those four slots on AV, if you want.

    Well, and, there aren't very many times you use the flight pads once you're at level 65 anyway.

    The only flight pad I can think of in a pvp zone would be for pathfinder? I could be wrong but I think most are in safe zones. It's unlikely to see much pvp in open world once the hype dies down. :D

    Well, for me this game became [filtered] when nightforge gear came out, the game became way too easy and BHS has failed to recapture its old difficulty since then. Everything that people have been saying is "hard" either play with [filtered] players, or they are just casual and think they can be gear carried lol. Crusade was decent if there was another guild to compete with but in my case no one could compete with us because people either didn't care enough to or not good enough but no way of knowing for sure. And now there is a server merge because the game is in fact losing players. Wait till next year when they merge TR and AV+ CH, that wont even give you enough active players right now to match the old population of TR or MT lol. I've been playing Grim Dawn and it's more fun than Tera has been since ACHM/MCHM days.

    No one is making you PVP?? I'm on a PVP server and unless I'm in a battleground I literally do nothing PVP related.

    I thought the flight pads were covered in towns? I mean, When you are in a flight pad, the map that shows is that of the town. Even pathfinder post, where the flight pad if rather far from town, does show the town map while inside the pad. So, what's covered in the map as part of the town is not part of the safe zone? Anyone from a current pvp server can check this?

    As for the OP. Well. This is something that's bound to happen in online games. Things change, and the devs and publishers have to change to both benefit the game and their revenue. Some players will inevitably get burned by these changes. It's bad for those players and no opinion will fix that damage done. Inn the end it's either take it or leave it. I've stayed through a bunch of changes. Server merging being one of them. The only one of the original servers that remain is CH because of it's roleplay designation. Everything else has been merged one or more times already.

    I don't know. That's just what was mentioned in the FAQ.

    Yeah, I hardly use the flight pads. I just teleport to my dailies which are all on IoD (a safe zone FYI).

    You can check this on a PvE server too -- just look at the little icon that changes when you go in and out of a town. Even on a PvE server, you can still see the difference between the rest area of the town and outside, and that's the same logic used on PvP servers.

    I think some of the flight pads are in the covered area and others are not. Obviously the ones that are a long ways from town, like Pora Elinu, are not -- but most level 65s don't go there (or, really, use any flight pads much).

But, will pvpers be so hungry for kills that they camp those pads to kill people who would most likely be pve-ers who don't give any challenge at all? Law of the Internet says yes. There will be one or two trolls, but I doubt that would be the norm.

    Yeah. That's my point too. People are just worrying way too much about the whole pvp thing. I have a character in HW and I'm not moving it from there after merge. And I'm a 100% pve person.

    I'm also completely opposed to PvP, but don't believe that I will actually experience any of it on the new PvP65 server. So yeah, unless the server population tanks, I'm likely staying.

    i'm sorry, but where exactly did you read that you can transfer only one character for free? yes, you must buy character slots, yes, you must buy bank expansions, but you can transfer as many characters as you want.
