Server Merger , Characters slots?

Ok , let's see , oh HW i have 8 character slots , and on VoT 2 and LoT 2, so , on new server i will have 8 charachter slots .

But when server merges i will have to delete characters from VoT and LoT to actually play ( so that charachters slots go from 12 to 8 ) , although, they said they will give us 4 characters expansion slots , can i use these expansion slots before so i don't have to delete my charachters from VoT and LoT ? or do i have to delete them and then use those 4 characters expansion slots , and then remake those charachters?

    As long as your characters are over level 15 (they're going to lower the limit during this merger), all you have to do is put them in "deletion state" -- but there will be a 24-hour countdown before it actually does it. So you just have to start the deletion process, enter the server, claim and use the character slots, and then cancel the deletion.

    if your characters are above level 40, you'll have to wait 24 hours before they can be deleted. as long as they're in this process of being deleted, you can log onto the new server. you can also cancel this process at any time before it ends and your characters will not be deleted.

    basically, what you said will work, except you can do it and also keep your characters, unless they're under level 40. you still have some time before the merge, so get training if they are!

    @metagame Treeshark lowered the level cap for deletion state to 15, to ease this process of logging in and use character slots.
