Unity stoles removed from mongos?

My friend said she got an unity stole from a mongo before the event was nerfed... I killed some rares that they supposedly drop from, but got none, did they remove unity stoles from drops?

    Party member apparently got one in the last hour. (gold scarab - LoT) the rate is just super nerfed
