+10% Exp for doing... nothing?

I noticed this a while back, but since we always have exp events I thought it was part of it. Anyways, currently there is not an active exp event but I still keep getting +10% exp for every mob/BAM I kill, and I do not use any kind of exp booster nor do I have elite account, I also do not have rested Exp saved. This even happens with newly created characters.

Does anyone knows why do I keep getting additional exp for monster hunting? Additional information, the extra exp points appear in chat window like (+xNum) in yellow.

And yes, I do care because I like to do all the game quests and currently every additional exp I get seem to screw my chances of being able to use Instance matching most of the time.

    That's because you have Tier2 on TERA Rewards and it gives you 10% extra xp from mobs.

    I wish this was turned OFF for playing with friends or partners. I have Tier 8 My, Partner Tier 2.

    I far outstrip my Partner when we play together in levels because the imbalance this causes. We've Tried me not getting Rested XP, but it's not enough to close the gap. :p
