Is there any detailed guide to get starfall gear?

Ive been searching but everything is outdated and the guides don't exactly go into detail on how to get the gear. They usually just say " get x gear to be most optimal"

Does anyone have a guide? If not can someone explain it to me.

I think that there's no point trying to ask someone to explain it to u now, because with the new patch we will get a lot of changes to where and how can u obtain mats necessary to craft starfall gear. It would be probably better to ask again later, when we will know what was changed.

So as long as nothing changes all of your starfall mats plus the belt are available in the bg merchants. (bellicarium and killing spree)

PVE wise your sf mats will now drop from:

Wonderholme: SF Belt, Desolaurus Heartbeat, and Dread Spars.
The rest will be distributed to the remaining dungeons. Best way to see what drops where will be to open up your ims window and look at what drops for what dungeon.

To get the plans you'll need an item called Stellar Ancient Blueprint. You can buy it on the tb, they're not super expensive.

Then you gather the correct amount of materials for that piece based off the plans and craft the item.

Although at this point you might be better off just going for slaughter unless you plan on +15'ing it or just go for Imperator(VM7). The crafting process for vm7 is similar to vm6.

(ps. having all your text bold is buggin the crap outta me)

The first thing you'll need is an item called "Ancient Stellar Blueprint". It normally dropped from the last boss in FINM and KDHM, fortunately both dungeons will stay during this patch, so you can give them a try. Your other alternative is to buy it from other players or the trade broker. Once you get it, right-click on it and you'll receive a quest, you'll just have to talk to one or two NPCs and in the end you'll get starfall gear designs suited for your class.

Now, getting materials PvE-wise will be a bit different it seems, I guess dreadnaught spars will continue to drop from the last boss at KDHM, while sea ashes and ghostly seals will drop in FINM. On the other hand, since FIHM will be removed I guess you'll have to get desolarus heaertbeats and the starfall belt from Wonderholme.

PvP-wise, I guess the main method will be through the Killing Spree and Bellicarium merchants, provided EME keeps the materials in the shops after this maintenance. Other than that, desolarus heartbeats had a chance to "drop" from sea chests and battleground reward boxes from FWC, but now those will surely drop materials for the Imperator set instead.

At this point, it'd be better to aim for slaughter then proceed to start on vm7 instead of crafting starfall. It really depends if eme removed SF mats completely from BG merchants like ktera did. And if that's the case, it makes making the set significantly harder to make compaired to pre ninja patch.

This isn't true in all cases. Slaughter gear in general is pretty meh and doesn't have healer equivalents for the gloves, which makes Starfall more appealing.
