  • People will always complain about their dps but archer is in a decent spot, try a dps meter perhaps. Soon sorcerer gets a rework and will be top dps.

    pve Archer hits quite hard in this patch because of the increased back crit chance. It also allows archer crit factor numbers to lower a bit in favor of more power. I think the magic number is still somewhere around 300 total or a little less. In my experience with 100 less CF that you (60 + 201 base) and only running NM stuff and IoD, I'm getting about 80% 90% crit rate from my charge attacks and nearly 100% from RF. As numbers go, again, NM dungeons, I've seen nearly 4M crits from my charge attacks.

    As an alt, my archer has only Slaughter weapon and belt. Weapon is rolled 2X enrage, flat and behind with spiteful, carving, savage and focused as crystals (may test one day how things go with pounding instead of carving but since I'm not at 300CF....). Chest top has +10% RoA. Accessories are 3X shadowgate and 2X corvette non perfect rolled(at least both rings have CF rolls) and 4X keen vyrsks.

    Without knowing how you actually play isnt possible to know. Could be 100k or 1m.

    Keep in mind that since the enrage uptime changed, 50% of your dps will depend in your party dps(how high the dps its on non enrage phases) and debuff uptime

    based on my expirience in decent party with 90-100% debuffs uptime (lancer priest myst gunner) full 12 slaugher archer can dps up to ~1.2kk/s in SSHM imperator, ~1.2kk/s floor 22, ~1kk/s manglemire
    ping 50-60

    +15 imperator gear give you about ~40% dps compared to slaughter

    Your days of trying to compare your DPS meter against a pro with double digit ping is over for you then. All you can do is your best.

    Partially true. But the real concerns is toxicity in LFG. Most peps who manage to pop over 1ks/s often said, "Wew another carry run." while in +12 Slaughter.

    but this only work with bosses that dont move. And BB might be nice to use to increase the PA damage by 25%, but by using bb in the rotation without losing RoA uptime you will have to overcharge PA and RA, while removing one of each> meaning a dps loss.

    You need keep in mind that archer DOESNT have a rotation, but a priority skil list. Since most of the fights you will have to dogde or do a mechanic that will screw with any rotation. I created rotation with more than 50 steps, in order mathematically increase the dps, but since it so long it is impractical to use in a real fight scenario. The difference between great archers and mediocre ones is knowing which skill use in each situation (also having low ping...)

    I suppose, since you have that ping AND Slaughter, your best chance is to go up. Try to get +15 to try and close the gap a bit. Yes, I know. +15 is a hassle, but people will overlook your 250 ping more if you tote an imperator +15 in their faces than showing up as a +12 Slaughter.

  • @Nopi I recently upgrade my archer to full +12 slaughter and I noticed dps increase around 7++k/s at DFNM/DFHM with double healer. I know low ping archer will easily pull over 1m dps (even in +12 Slaughter)...I guess ping matters in the end. Or I play it wrong.

    Talking about +15 Shenanigans...it's far away from my gearing plans... :anguished:
