That said, the problem is not just about people missing the event. Even if I had participated in it, I'd be upset.
I have all my gear and dyads already. I got it through many many hours of hard work. It took me a month just to get my dyads!
Yet in one day, people were able to do what normally takes weeks or months. Had I participated, I'd still be pissed that I spent so much time gearing up just to have an event invalidate that effort.
Seeing people with stacks of smart dyads in the hundreds, makes me sick, after busting my [filtered] for a mere handful of them.
The problem with this event, was that the rewards were straight up borked. Sadly, complaining about it won't do any good, since what is done is done.
Haha I didn't afk to get that much of gold. I only afked only to claim parcels and maybe to eat(other ppl in the raid was alright with it because they had to eat too) And I have way more gold than the gold I got from this event.
And What does event like this have anything to do with normal game play? Normal game play is normal game play and event is an event. Suk it up.
Also u said I reaped that gold from enmasse mistake? Is that my fault? Is that something to blame? Y don't you tell enmasse to do the event right in the first place.

That being said I think the event could have used more notice. This would have made it accessible to more players who missed out in the end and are now extremely behind compared to other players.
I don't mind the loot drops and the shared raid loot. Im personally indifferent to players multi client and afk in raids, that's between you and your raid. I do feel that the event should have been limited to a few hours during the day instead of something you could farm like crazy for 3 days straight.
First you complain about feedstock shortage. EME gave us the feedstock event from around 2 months ago and it lasted for around a month. What did you do back then? Also, if you did stock up and spent it all in Awakening enchantment - what, blame EME again? They did not tell you to use it all up and gamble, you did it on your own. You could've just sold your feedstocks and bought a +15 no problem. I don't think new people are the ones complaining cause with around 5K fs you can already get a slaughter weap+chest to +12.
And then you complain about feedstock injection (aka this event). You tell your months of hard work got screwed because EME gave stuff away. Well guess what? Your words aren't the words of the whole population. Just because one percent of the playerbase are elitist pricks who minds if people who did do the event catches up with them, doesn't mean other people did not enjoy the crap out of the event. On TR for example, the lfg pag was maxed to brim of raids and they were all filled completely. Don't tell me those people did not enjoy the event.
And also you complain about not being in the event. See, this is so stupid to the point of maximum moron. It's not as if EME did not want you to take part in the event. It's also why it's called an event for [filtered]'s sake: it's not pre-announced, some people can go and some cannot, and it's made to please the general population. Is it EME's fault you did not make it? God no.
Even if some people exploited the event for their own benefit, they did still work for it (logged multiple accounts, maybe burned their PC, didn't sleep, etc). I'm not saying it's a good thing, but some things were bound to happen, you cannot always expect things to go so well.
This event benefits the people who cannot play on weekdays because of work, the new people who just joined and have nothing to begin with, the suffering many who got screwed by Forvarth the RNG devil advocate, budding tanks who cannot tank SSHM because of incorrect rolls, healers without swift dyads, PVE dps guys who gets grieving savage dyads 10 times in a row before the event, people who liked clouds over their heads, Pokemon fans, die hard farmers, and almost everybody under the sun.
Blame EME for shortage, and then for providing solution for the shortage. Blame EME for crappy events, and also for fun events. Whine about stupid rewards, and also whine on great rewards. If I were EME I would've just made everything P2W just to screw with all your sorry asses. Whatever they do they cannot please you. Could you at least show some gratitude for once?
@on topic: I got 50something smart dyads, around 25K T9 fs, around 10K T10 fs, around 5K spellbinds, 3K MWA, page full of clouds/nobles, and a bunch of swifties enough for 4 patches. I only logged with one character. Yeap, magic can still happen without exploit.
I see screenshots of people with 200+ smart dyads. Smart dyads that would require over two YEARS worth of KS credits to acquire!!
Yet these people got that many in a bloody weekend!!!! This is what is disgusting, not the complaining, which is warranted.
1. Who would want to farm dyads for 2 years?
2. It's not as if you can get the dyad you wanted on the next try. Plus you need fine niveots too, which are in demand and going up in price now.
3. More dyads for alts, people are happy.
4. Dyads are untradeable so it doesn't mess up the market as much.
5. What if there was no smart dyads on rewards? Somebody else just like you would complain as well, albeit for a different reason. Can't please everyone.
6. Everytime we got a smart dyad off Spring Valley, people would always say "thanks for the rare". I don't think most of us were disgusted.
7. It sounds as if you did not make it to the event. I feel sorry for you, but it's not anyone's fault but yours. It's like blaming a store for a sudden sale you did not get the chance to experience. Don't worry, there will be a next time.
8. 200 dyad people farmed their asses off too. Some just went afk and exploited, but most people did work for it.
I mean, who wants to spend months farming to get all that? I sure don't!
And shoot, who needs to pay $15 a month for elite subscription, when I can get more benefits than years worth of elite from just a weekend of Mongos?
elite doesnt really give free feedstock or mwa or niveot, 5 mwa per day is not really good
and you can use elite for fast teleportation to timeless wood, selliewood, bastion, so you can hunt mongo before no elite come
I think you understood the point of what I was saying.
I kind of get why the few posters are upset that after they farmed their butts off tons of others caught up to them overnite, but dang... a lot of these posts just sound more like jealous rage than any good argument why this event was supposedly horrible, which I don't personally agree with.
.... Or maybe I've just gotten too used to always being pretty far behind myself so I don't feel it as hard.... meh.
I just have a really hard time believing that if the people upset about this had been around to benefit from it they would still be so upset.
This event was for everybody right? So why are people saying that for people who grind and farm that it's a slap in the face? Are you the stupid? Those farmers would be getting the easiest boost to their farming ever. So no it's not a slap it's a helping hand upwards.
If you're salty because you missed then that's unfortunate. I work 5 nights a week and I still had some spare time to do the event. Whatever your excuse is save it. Eme did something good for once and it wasn't for just the elite. It was for everyone.
You're so disgusting and sad. Why attack another player for their rewards from the event? If you have concerns voice it to EME not attack players who did nothing but enjoy and take advantage of the event.
Instead of being so salty, do something more productive with yourself because no one gives a damn about your opinion.
Unlike some people, I care more about what is right, than I do about my own gains. Unlike most the people that are defending this train wreck of an event.
I've missed out on countless events, and never once felt compelled to complain about it until this massive screw up.
But you did get one thing right...it's too late for anything to be done about it. Other than perhaps making smart dyads permanently much more easy to obtain. And as for the rest, I don't even know...
