Anyway. OP already selected ninja. It's a fun class to play, and when one thinks the class will stall and become boring, you get into the whole rotations thing and the challenge of trying to DPS without getting hit at all just to keep the Focus buff up.
For me, little boring classes are ninja, gunner and reaper.
Fun class = lancer, mystic, archer and war.
If I'm not mistaking high lvl Archer play is difficult considering you must master canceling.
Now I understand the leveling aspect got pretty much axed because the game is not new anymore, but I refuse to believe that the only thing a Tera newbie can handle is a new ez mode class. Again, human thinking capabilities shouldn't have devolved in such a low amount of time to have every new player being incapable of starting up as a warrior or a sorc, when most of us who started Tera only had those to begin with, with much less info about the classes, and yet most of us did fine.
So all in all, I will keep recommending classic classes, with the caveat that they are more challenging to use, yet every bit as capable and far more rewarding to master. And will recommend easy classes for those who really want ez mode.
BTW, Archer cancel mastering is only required in top end play. Just like evasion mastering and full knowledge of boss attacks and timings is required for ninja top end play (to keep focus up). For anything else, just doing anything other than auto attacks and being as mindful to rotations, gear and positioning as you should be with an ez mode class will be enough to do decently.
Wen I pug, which is rarely nowadays what do I see?
DPS meter.
Whats next?
A person gets randomly kicked or party disbands b/c who willingly joins a trap run.
PUGs expect you to be competent and not just do decent cut throat much.
If you fail apparently DPS meter is the go to solution nothing else.
In guild runs, once you lose your noob status and get competent gear, they expect you to start pulling your weight.
BTW does anyone can help me with that buddy up thing?? I now no one here
Go to the New and returning player section of these forums, there's a very active Buddy up codes thread there.

Archers - Stay out of the danger zone and get those big crit numbers. You're pesky-peeler in pvp or 3v3s, can contribute quite a bit to battlegrounds since they don't have to get into the danger zone.
Warrior - Fast-pace dual-sword wielder. Not really a super challenging class in my opinion, but it still has its challenges. It's the fastest class in the game by far, glass-cannon under Assault Stance and a pvp and pve tank under Defense Stance. This class has the most stable dps out of all of the original classes except slayers due to Assault Stance giving you a alot of crit factor, along with crit factor being stacked by Deadly Gamble and crit factor glyphs for the warrior's main damaging skills. PVPing is this class's best specialty in 1v1 that is, but when they get into Battlegrounds excluding 3v3s they have alot of trouble contributing to teams as large as 15 or 20.
Slayers - Glass-Cannon Greatsword Wielder. Has alot of damaging skills, which have triple crit factor glyphs, but the downside of this class is that you have alot of trouble with MP out of any class I know of so far. This class's skills deal around the same amount of damage which is really good.
For pvp, this class will need alot of mastering to be played at a professional level. This class has stun resist and super armor skills at their disposal for anyone who makes attacks them improperly or at the wrong time.
Berserkers - Heavy Armor Axe-Wielder. This class dishes out alot of damage, but the downside to this class in pve is that a majority of their damage comes from charging skills which take a while to charge if you don't have flurry of blows activated and they can get interrupted just like any skill without super armor or stun immunity. This class is probably the 2nd most challenging class in my opinion to be good with in PVE. This class can also tank in PVE, but this isn't common at the moment. They shine in PVP in the hands of a skilled player, but they suffer immensely from not having any guaranteed lock-down skills to confirm any combos or kills. They have a Knockdown combo playstyle just like warriors in PVP, but it's harder to execute on players due to zerks not having any confirming lock-down skills or gap-closers, but if they do a knockdown combo on almost any class, then they'll nearly be guaranteed a kill or a win in a match.
Sorcerer - Your average magician in any RPG. This class has various skills at their disposal for pve and pvp. The community by far says this is the most difficult class to play as in PVE well with berserkers being 2nd and warriors being 3rd. This class is a force to be reckoned with in PVP as their combos can pretty much take-back even the roughest matches and some skills they have are super dangerous to play around with or make the slightest mistake with.
Lancers - The original tank of this game and the most challenging tank to play. Your average tanking class that wields a shield and a lance, but not all MMORPGS with a tank have a lance as a weapon. This class is has one of the most important roles in the game and it's to get the bosses off of your teammates so they can dps without any distraction or minimal threat of dying. This class does the least amount of damage in PVP and PVE, but they are already important enough for it not to be too much of a problem except with brawlers doing their job better and being easier to use. The ultimate PVPing CC'ing machine in my opinion, I mean come on, the class uses Giga all the time to stun combo a series of enemies in PVP which really buys out a massive opportunity for almost anything big to happen.
Priest - Main healer of Tera. They stay on the sidelines making sure the party stays alive. I can't play as a healing class, it's just seem too boring for me personally. I can say without a doubt that new and veteran healers are always welcome in my opinion as progression in dungeons and raids would be impossible without them or mystics. They're just a distraction in PVP as they mostly outheal damage a vast majority of the time against attackers unless they're teamed on. They are the most important guys in PVP battlegrounds that keeps the raid alive to the best of their ability and can potentially set up team-kills for a raid by putting enemies to sleep for a damn long time.
Mystic - Can be a main or secondary healer along with being a potential dps class. Basically the same as a priest, but with more traps, utilities, and dps at their disposal than priests in PVP and supplements the overall damage pool of an entire party much better than a priest at the moment and can actually dps as well as pure dps classes.
Reaper - The melee combat type is kinda misleading for this class as this class's skills are basically as long as a warrior's reach on someone to do Backstab. It's just that their weapon extends so far and directly hits an opponent or monster that it's actually considered a melee class instead of a ranged one. The community looks at reapers as an "Easy Bake" class for DPS and doing combos and alot of damage in PVP. Basically this is a low-risk, high reward class compared to either a berserker or a warrior being the complete opposite for both PVP and PVE.
Gunners - A ranged class that wields a massive-[filtered] gun(bazooka?). This class is a bit laid back in terms of skill curving in PVE just like all of the non-original classes in this game (newly released classes). This is a DPS class. Gunners are kinda on the gray side of pvp due to contrasting differences of their power in PVP. Some say that they are easy to beat and some say that they are completely overpowered. I thought both at some point. The former statement I said mainly comes from those who beat inexperienced gunners which is the vast majority of them that pvp. The latter comes from fighting gunners who effectively use their skills at their disposal which is actually quite damn broken. I'm gonna be honest right now about this class in pvp, but they are kinda broken as [filtered]. They have way too many "get out of jail cards", I mean that they have too many skills that prevent them from taking a devastating punish from either a knockdown, a killing combo, or a finishing blow. 1. A robot that can knock you down if you try to stun combo them. 2. The same robot can grapple the gunner out of a combo, a knockdown or killing blow. 3. The same robot you can summon or the turret shooting at you can be self-destructed to stun you and punish you immensely. 4. Just a regular retaliate. 5. If this even counts, a death-cheating skill. Even the other overpowered classes in this game don't have "get out of jail cards" at such a crazy level. The moves that I listed can even be used to set up deadly traps.
Brawler- The easier and more rewarding class for tanking in PVE. Beware of the killer lifter in PVP. This class can actually beat you without a sweat if you go against someone with pvping common sense. Make the mistake of hitting them on block and they'll lift you and make you waste your retaliate. Do it again before retaliate is off of cooldown and you'll get come action-packed lift combos. Most of the class's attacks are auto-blocks which makes no sense at all to me, which breaks the need to even pvp as any other class. I'm not saying that I won't pvp anymore, but it just means more pvping work for me to be able to beat them compared to other classes.
Ninja- The newest class in Tera as of now. Ninjas have the highest dps out of any class in PVE right now, but not without a con. They have cloth armor which makes them super squishy as a dps class. They have enough iframes to make up for the lack of defense compared to other classes, but you still have to be careful as this class, but all-in-all, this class is pretty damn fun and has some sort of skill curving compared to other classes. The dps part isn't the part that has a skill curve as that's super easy, but it's how you use other utilities at your disposal when you're in a sticky situation. For example if you don't have your iframes off cooldown, you've been slowed, and you're in a one-shot AOE and can barely get out on time you have other skills that can get you out of that AOE on time or save you from dying. This class is one of the most balanced out of the new classes for pvp by far in my opinion in unequalized pvp, but they can be quite op in equalized pvp.
I hope this summary of the classes can help you out. I know it's not perfect, but you should get an idea of what some of the classes are like in their playstyle.
