Anyone else getting ping spikes in game?

So, since this weeks maintenance, between the hours of 9pm EST - 12 AM EST, my ping has been spiking from 80ish to 300. I've tested my internet through speed tests, and other games, and Tera is the only thing that has been lagging for me. Resetting my internet, and computer has no effect. Has anyone else been having this issue lately?

I'm playing on TR.

Edit: My ISP is Charter.

My ping doesn't spike anymore, now it just constantly stays at like 250ms+. Normally at 70-90.

I should have been more clear. My ping will spike once around 9pm, and remain at 250-350 until around midnight. Can I ask what your ISP is, and whereabouts you are connecting from? Also, when did you start experiencing the lag?
  • I'm from California and my ISP is Charter. I've had it since a month ago, it's mostly been on and off for the past 3 weeks but this week it's been consistent for the whole week so far.

It seems to be an issue with the routing to the servers, currently getting 400 ping on Tera, and I only get high ping to anything if it's towards the location of the servers. Simply picking somewhere else, even if it's nearby, I get the usual ping.

I also have Charter, but I am on the east coast. I just started having this issue after yesterday's maintenance.
  • Same here... Charter as well. Pretty annoying.
  • constanly 300ms usually 250~280ms from asian
  • You guys should run a tracert during times of high latency, figure out where the problem is. I use pingplotter since it'll run a series of tracert and plot the results graphically, like this: imgur.com/SyEIGWK. At the very least, it'll tell you who to complain to about it so it can get fixed.
