  • ^What he said. Tera isn't too noob friendly to be Frank with you mate.
  • Well I don´t mean like playing that kind of casual. I intend on maxing my first "main" char and fully gearing it up to play PVE at high end and also PVP although I prefer PVE. What I intend with this first class is having one that doesn´t involve that much time becoming a master as I don´t intend to play the class at a normal lvl I would like to become a really good player in pve with that class. Is just i have never played an mmorpg of the type of TERA. I just believe a ninja might give me huge fun considering the combat system here and the huge mobility of a ninja. And well sorcerers/mages have been my all life class so on one side is the fun of mobility with the ninja on the other is the usual love for mages
  • Well I gotta be honest, but there's another MMO that has a similar and better combat system, but it's already a disaster compared to here.

At least our PVE is somewhat still OK compared to Dragon Nest's. Dragon Nest's pvp is better, but there's more connectivity issues than Tera with their PVP.

Tera only has desyncing which is a connectivity issue related with you and your enemies location. If you're in 1v1 in Tera and playing as a warrior, slayer, or ninja there's a chance that their Backstab skills could start it. Dragon Nest has ghosting and rollback failure (causing certain status like stagger and knockdown to be voided all together.)which happens alot and [filtered] up alot of matches 95% of the time. Tera desyncing happens less often than Dragon Nest's desyncing.

Tera's PVP relies on stuns, staggers,KDs, and being able to punish or predict certain movements. Sorcerers are pretty deadly in PVP, while ninjas still need to make their way up as they're still the newest class to the game, so most likely no one has enough experience to tell you how good the class is yet.

If you're actually going to play ninja for pvp, jagged path is the only skill whats punishable when you're fighting experienced players, because its animation locked along with death blossom. Decoy jutsu is our only situational iframe and one thousand cuts has animation lock at the end
Ninja is the real peeling machine though and easy for pvp when you get to know the skills when to use them

I got kind of lost with the last two comments, I am kind of noob with this type of games. :/ usually played click and kill kind of games. But as I see ninja is really viable in pve and as I can get to master it and understand how to evade and attack different classes it will be really good in pvp. right?

I don´t mind having to get to know the class by my own but I believe having a ninja as a main different to my usual mage won´t be bad :)
