Question for people posting upset by the others exploiting the event. Sure, the drops were insane at the start, which I missed of course, because of a mistake made by EME, but what was everyone supposed to do? Stop killing Mongos when items started dropping like candy because of some unspoken moral code?
I kind of get why the few posters are upset that after they farmed their butts off tons of others caught up to them overnite, but dang... a lot of these posts just sound more like jealous rage than any good argument why this event was supposedly horrible, which I don't personally agree with.
.... Or maybe I've just gotten too used to always being pretty far behind myself so I don't feel it as hard.... meh.
I just have a really hard time believing that if the people upset about this had been around to benefit from it they would still be so upset.

We are not mad at players which farmed it, I farmed it when I could, we are bashing the EME, if DEVS were actually playing the game, they would never do such a thing, they just pooped on everyone in the past years which worked his [filtered] off for gears, EME is the target, not players, can you just read and think about it?

Most ppl defend the event were one of those which never tried before, I am sure.

I clocked more than 400 days of gameplay in this [filtered] game... who the [filtered] are you to say my opinion doesn't count you fuckin c***.

I want the game to strive and succeed but [filtered] like you obviously want EME to go bankrupt to throw events that hand millions to individuals with absolutely no effort. I hope that day come so another publisher like GameForge take over TERA NA to fuckin dry hump you.

Oh give me a break with the playtime crap. I played Tera for three years with thousands of hours invested in the game and you don't see me acting like how you are. There are pros and cons to this event. Was it fun for people? Yeah, it brought the community together in a sense. Was it unfair like you said? Hell yes. Like I said, voice the concerns to EME.

What we already established was they could have announced the event earlier, left it longer, and adjusted the rewards.

P.S. I didn't say your opinion didn't count. I said no one here cares because this thread has nothing to do with your opinion. It was just show your profits. That's it. You want to complain then make your own thread to discuss it.
  • I was playing Friday night, but was totally oblivious to the event, so I missed out on the craziness that was going on.

I'm pretty sure the effects on the market will be temporary. I doubt performance innerwear or noble moons will bounce back easily but the rest will. Now if they did this event twice a month or something ridiculous--then the economy would tank permanently.

The biggest enemy of a game like this is ennui--and this event was a shot in the arm of excitement for many players. It's like a double fudge sundae. One now and then is awesome. Not good for you but awesome. One every day and good-bye waistline, hello diabetes.

Was this event good for the in-game economy? By no means, at least right now. Long term? Maybe, but most likely not a problem in my opinion.

The question that remains is then was the fun and excitement worth the effects. Is that double fudge sundae worth the calories.

I think so, but you don't. That's a judgement call and both are valid. I hope time changes your mind and not mine.

That's the thing.... It wasn't a double fudge sunday. It was a year's supply of double fudge sundays!

Would you complain if they gave out a full set of end game gear, max enchanted and etched, to everyone, just for spending the weekend participating in the event? IMO, the dyads alone were more valuable than even that!!

It's a joke, and hearing all these people try to defend it is a joke!

I have 3powers but had like 18 crit 16s. I grinded for 16 hours a day. (I also sold like 70 moons and about 60 performances so that gave a ton of gold)Spent a little of the feed/mwa but still a lot of broken events anyways. Only a little bit of dyads but I'm a simple person. qWlWs.png

  • I had to work overtime Friday to sunday... so I got nothing. Q.Q looked like fun though

Only your opinion (statement) matters. Keep it up.

At this point, I don't think they are defending EME. What was the point of this thread? To show off your loot. Not to argue about it for 5 pages. What are you going to do? What is complaining going to do? The event is already over, complaining won't bring it back, it won't fix the OP loot from the mongo event - the only thing it will do is increase the already overflowing amount of salt in your system. Sure, 'complaining' might change EME's ideas for the next mongo event, but you only needed to make the point once...not 500 times. Spacecats already even talked about the mongo event a little in the stream. Everyone should just move on already, what's been done has been done, the past cannot be changed.
  • This is event is the most [filtered] event ever. I think Enmasse shot themselves in the foot. I beleive their EMP sales will tank because no one needs anything anymore.
  • vkobevkobe ✭✭✭✭✭
well we need character slot, apperance voucher, race voucher, gender voucher, name voucher etc :3
  • Damn, I need some smart dyads. Got absolutely nothing.
  • @VirtualON If you think their emp sales will tank, you should probably check and see all the other things on the cash shop that people will still buy.
